Holy Ghost Power
Holy Ghost Power
How
great is your God. I say ”your God” because I don’t know you to
be a Christian. I know that my God is awesome and He has bestowed
unto me a portion of Holy Spirit power. He did it when he splashed
salvation
ccarying
blood
upon me and saved my soul. Through that mighty Spirit we have eternal
life and power over the whelms of Satan.
One
who created everything from nothing. One who was before eternity and
will last forever is awesome. One who created the earth and all that
was, is and will ever be on it is living a span reaching from alpha
to omega. He is the beginning of all things and he will survive the
ending of all those who do not accept his offer to live with Him. It
is through Him that we have eternal life in New Jerusalem. MY God is
an awesome God! I trust you have at least an introductory
understanding of the one and only living God.
18
The
eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what
is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his
inheritance in the saints, 20
Which
he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him
at his own right hand in the heavenly places,21
Far
above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every
name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is
to come:22
And
hath put all things
under his feet, and gave him to
be
the head over all things
to the church,23
Which
is his body, the fulness of him that filleth all in all. (Ephesians
chapter 1-23)
There can be no mistaking the power of our Creator, as displayed in the resurrection of Christ, is directed toward us! God directed me to write a book that will soon be on book shelves. It is inspired and puts forth the power man can have if only he can discern the scriptures. We will never fully comprehend that, but the Scriptures provide several clear statements that point to the fact that through faith Christians have Holy Spirit to do great wonders. when does that power become available? Look to( Acts 1:8). There you will learn that we receive power when the Holy Spirit first indwells us The Holy Spirit overshadows and embeds himself in everyone who is twice-born (John 14:17) Residing in our mind’s heart, the center of everything we are, he remains ever readily accessible to all we who believe His report. (Ephesians 3:20). His report is this word we refer to as the Holy bible. In that book, through inspiration of God, men recorded that Jesus said that the things we see him do, these and even greater things we can do if we believe.
It
is no strange thing we write here. Men of the cloth
use the Holy
Spirit power
of God every time they
preach the gospel (Romans
1:16),
whether to one person or to thousands (1
Corinthians 1:18)
without
inspiration of God no real service can be had. We
learn of the power of God through “great and precious promises.”
Indeed, those promises involve “all things that pertain unto life
and godliness” (2
Peter 1:3-4).
Looking
unto God who is the source of
all power and precious gifts, we clearly see His Spirit working in
the revival meetings. Each Christian who will know the Word of God
can
see the results of God’s power in our lives when we are
“strengthened with all might” and
we should
demonstrate “all patience and long-suffering with joyfulness”
of
heart (Colossians
1:11).

Our
blessed Savior desires
“that [we] might be filled with all the fullness
of God” (Ephesians
3:19)
and “strengthened with might by Him
as the Holy
Spirit in the inner man” (v. 16). The purpose of this empowering is
to be “rooted
and built up in him, and stablished in the faith”
(Colossians
2:7),
“able
to comprehend . . . the breadth, and length, and depth, and height;
And to know [!] the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge”
(Ephesians
3:18-19).“Now
unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we
ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us, Unto him be
glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world
without end. Amen” (verses 20-21).
We
often hear “I cant read that old testament… I can’t understand
it.” Also, the genealogies
in the new testament gives many trouble. We must not loose sight of
the fact that God said that “faith comes by hearing and hearing by
the word of God.” By reading
all that
God
put
on the shelf to read and hearing all
the word sent to us by His chosen deliverers, we gain faith, Faith
produces boldness and power in God’s work. All scripture is given
for enlighten and build knowledge of God’d way. It is Him and His
ways that we broadcast to a lost and dying world. Know God, know
peace. Amen Sept. 2, 2019 BLL
