Power

POWER Philippians 4:13 13 I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me” Through the word, observation and personal experience, knowledge of the power of God has been manifest unto us. God has not given us the spirit of fear, but the spirit of power, of courage and resolution, to meet difficulties and dangers. We maintain a spirit of love for him. The Lord will carry us through opposition. He soothes our doubting . He puts in us the spirit of a sound mind,. In that gentle quietness of mind, resides all the power of heaven and earth. Never provoke God to anger. . The Holy Spirit is not the author of a timid or cowardly disposition, or of slavish fears. We are likely to bear afflictions well, when we have strength and power from God to enable us to bear them. So full was he of that which is all our salvation, and ought to be all our desire. The call of the gospel is a holy call, making holy. Salvation is of free grace. This is said

The Switch

THE SWITCH Luke 11:8 5 And he said unto them, Which of you shall have a friend, and shall go unto him at midnight, and say unto him, Friend, lend me three loaves; 6 For a friend of mine in his journey is come to me, and I have nothing to set before him? 7 And he from within shall answer and say, Trouble me not: the door is now shut, and my children are with me in bed; I cannot rise and give thee. 8 I say unto you, Though he will not rise and give him, because he is his friend, yet because of his i mportunity [impôrˈt(y)o͞onədē: persistence, especially to the point of annoyance. ] he will rise and give him as many as he needeth.” There are many interpretations of switch: There is the willow branch that stripes unruly children’s legs (well once did), I switch off my light, I switch from caffeinated coffee, switch bus, plane, or, train, switch professions or curriculum, switch way of life, etc.,etc. However the switch herein mentioned runs a much deeper course. God’s message to you,

In My Heart

IN MY HEART Psalms 51: 7-13 7 Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean: wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow. 8 Make me to hear joy and gladness; that the bones which thou hast broken may rejoice. 9 Hide thy face from my sins, and blot out all mine iniquities. 10 Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me. 11 Cast me not away from thy presence; and take not thy holy spirit from me. 12 Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation; and uphold me with thy free spirit. 13 Then will I teach transgressors thy ways; and sinners shall be converted unto thee. How great is my God? To implant a right soul within me that purifies and glorifies my heart. That flesh, w here the Holy Spirit dwells, is always subject to tormenting by evil spirits which are assigned by the devil. I know then, as Saint Paul spoke of human fragility, a wrong or evil spirit can invade my soul, (mind) without dislodging the Holy Spirit lodged within my heart.
