The Switch is on

THE SWITCH IS ON

GENESES CHAPTER ONE

1 In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. 2 And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. 3 And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.

“In the beginning...” was not a simple switching from one existing creation to another. We have no history or true knowledge of anything existing before this beginning recorded in Genesis one. We are told that God is a Spirit. A spirit has no substance or visibility. We read here that The Spirit of God blanked the waters with light, life and definition. The spirit of God is Holy and all total power. Energy confined to a single description can only be visualized in part. God first made the earth either of water or covered deeply with water. He had his finger on the switch of change. That switch is the Holy Spirit: a ghost invisible and explainable but real. Creation was a process that lasted six days. The switch of change was constantly on as God followed the necessary pattern for stability and durability of His creation. God switched on everything from nothing and was well pleased for all he surveyed was very good.

Out there somewhere in the fathomless unknown dwelt another force capable of flipping on switches. He w(in Christianity and other monotheistic religions) the creator and ruler of the universe and source of all moral authority; the supreme being. He is and he will always exist. He is the enemy of all God associated creations; including us. However he’s subservient to God. The very definition for GOD, though human generated, shows God to be: He is called the Father · Jehovah · the Almighty · the Supreme Being · the Deity · Jesus Christ and more. God is a superhuman being or spirit worshiped as having power over nature or human fortunes; a deity. divine being · celestial being · supreme being. Is that not a description of a force that cannot be confined by words. Even though God is omnipotent. all knowing all powerful and constantly spread across the entire deep, He made us in his likeness with power over the earth and it’s inhabitants. But, he gave us permission to do it His way or another way that we thought better. This principle turned the switch on in Satan's world.

Most of us know how that modified God’s plan. Satan was selected to be God; an impossible status. He did however lead us into ignorance of God and darkness of the truth. Thousand of catastrophic occurrences in the world can be attributed to Satan’s playing at being God. There can be but one God and that is NOT Satan. From the bitten apple to the crusifiction of Christ Jesus the creation suffered turmoil. But, with that event, God gave strayed children an easy path back to the original Eden. He flipped the switch on in a final covenant whereby all who will can be saved unto eternal life in love, peace and joy.

We need not allow the devil’s flipping of the switch in our lives: 1 John 5:4 - For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, [even] our faith. Titus 3:5 “Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;” Know God, know peace.
