I will not have Pity...the Wayfarer 7/3/14

I will not have Pity   7/3/14 “And I will dash them one against another, even the fathers and sons together, saith the Lord: I will not pity, nor spare, nor have mercy, but destroy them.” (Jeremiah 13:14) God’s compassion and mercy; His pity; has limits . As the compassion, mercy and pity or the past are forgotten, (along with blessings already having been given), those limits are rapidly reached. As was Israel, God’s people today are and have been blessed for long periods of time with that compassion, mercy, and that pity for such a creature that never seems to learn from the constant mistakes of the past that, eventually, when repeated enough, deny that compassion, mercy and pity which is the very grace that was given Noah when the rest of the world refused to acknowledge that those things had been given in grand portions for so long, and chose to follow their own ways instead of that demanded by God. Jeremiah was sent to a people in total disregard of what was

For I Heard the Defaming of Many...the Wayfarer 9/6/14

For I Heard the Defaming of Many 9/6/14 “For I heard the defaming of many, fear on every side. Report say they, and we will report it.   All my familiars watched for my halting, saying, Peradventure he will be enticed, and we shall prevail against him, and we shall take our revenge on him. But the Lord is with me as a mighty terrible one; therefore my persecutors shall stumble, and they shall not prevail: they shall be greatly ashamed; for they shall not prosper: their everlasting confusion shall never be forgotten.” (Jeremiah 20: 10 &11) Throughout the ages, those serving God, His people, have been defamed. That defamation has always, without fail, led to persecutions of more and more increasingly vile and violent means, eventually resulting in the martyrdom of many, by means both covert, and overt. Jeremiah, as strong and faithful a servant as he was to God, was no exception. “Then came Jeremiah from Tophet, whither the Lord had sent him to

But in Rghteousness ...the Wayfarer 8/9/14

But in Righteousness 8/9/14 "Ye  shall do no unrighteousness in judgment: thou shalt not respect the person of the poor, nor honor the person of the mighty: but in righteousness shalt thou judge thy neighbor. (Leviticus 19:15) As Israel left Egypt, and progressed to the promise given them, the specifics of the laws given them were clarified and their intent refined and defined so that there could be no doubt as to that intent. The book of Leviticus, so forgotten ignored or simply overlooked is a guide given that should not be ignored or forgotten by the followers of Christ Jesus, who stated  that he didn't come to destroy the law, but in fulfillment of it. That fulfillment allowed for a direct approach to God making it possible to be purified without the ceremony and traditions that were required under the old covenant, but in no way negated the laws of behavior as set forth for God's people which determined what is, and is not, sin for that people

As He Is

As He Is 23 And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. 24 Faithful is he that calleth you, who also will do it . 1 Thessalonians 5:23-24 It's amazing but true that God's outlined plan for your life is beyond your wildest imagination. In fact, this life in the flesh has us so involved with life issues that most of we Christians give little thought to what it will mean to be completely sanctified. Consider for a moment the Christian life. We often hear about sanctification but do we fully understand the meaning of the word? ( S anctification defined : the noun form of sanctify, which is a verb, mean s to: set apart as or declare holy; consecrate, become holy · become sacred · bless · hallow · set apart · make legitimate or binding by religious sanction . Here I present an additional list describing Sanctification: approve
