Room For Doubt "?"

ROOM FOR DOUBT “?”

There are so many of we Christians today who ask of God while not really believing He will hear and answer. You might ask, is that okay? One would think the answer is a simple large NO! It really isn’t that simple. Think of your own experiences with petitioning God for some realized need. How many times did you not receive the answer that you sought? Did you then doubt that God even heard your cry for help? Do we ever rise from our knees of prayer knowing that our doubt blocked our faith? The answer is complicated to the point of simplicity.

The daddy of doubt is Satan. Will we give him room to lay doubt on our plate and like it? There is no place in the word of God that you will read f doubt being Godly or profitable. We may sometimes prosper while doubting but it of our own doings and God cant help. If we doubt His power or purposes, we make him a liar. He said he was able to keep His sheep if they doubt not. We can’t wallow in doubt and expect his blessings upon us. Nor, can we work effectively if we doubt our spirit fed ability to reach sinners.
Doubt not that your faith may be strong. A good friend of mine once said that you couldn't believe half way. It’s all or nothing. God requires Christians to believe.

2 Corinthians 5:7 (“For we walk by faith, not by sight:”) Where doubt festers in the soul Christians experiencing such, walk a thin wobbly line. It is our knowledge and full belief in the shed blood of Christ was for our atonement that solidifies us as His children and heirs to His kingdom. We go on our belief of the truth of the basics of Christianity. That is faith and as light repels darkness, faith repels doubt. Matthew, Mark and Luke expressed it in this manner:

Matthew 21:21
Jesus answered and said unto them, Verily I say unto you, If ye have faith, and doubt not, ye shall not only do this which is done to the fig tree, but also if ye shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; it shall be done.”

Mark 11:23 |

For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.”

Luke 12:29
And seek not ye what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink, neither be ye of doubtful mind.”

I don’t think that leaves ant ‘doubt’ that we were to have strong faith and doubt not. God is pleased when we know that we know He is truth and the devil a liar. We can only truly Know God by great faith.

Romans 1:17

For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.”

Living by faith must come from a humble spurt not having ought toward any one and loving thy brothers and sisters as you love your own self. If the spirit that lives as Jesus Christ dwells in you and you in Him, there can be no doubt. Rom. 1:17 as it is written, The just shall live by faith.” We must believe, believe, believe… Paul to Timothy wrote:

1 Timothy 2:8 |

I will therefore that men pray every where, lifting up holy hands, without wrath and doubting.”

Romans 14:23

And he that doubteth is damned if he eat, because he eateth not of faith: for whatsoever is not of faith is sin.”

The thrust of this verse lies in the last clause. If we operate without faith in being God’s children and as such blessed with His assured care we sin!

The answer to “is there room to doubt” is no; there is no place for doubt in a Christians life. Know God, know peace. Amen 06-01-2019 BLL
