Signs and Wonders

SIGNS AND WONDERS There is much confusion, questioning and misunderstanding in the span of time we are experiencing. Just as there is no real reason to assume that present and past calamities on earth indicate the beginning of darkness and the taking away of the church, there is no reasons not to believe such. Even national leaders are ordering citizens everywhere to lock themselves in their homes and wait; for what? Many happenings in the last few years can mistakenly be tied into prophesy fulfillment and translated into signs and wonders of the coming darkness. Be not deceived ye children of God. When the trumpet voice announces the appearance of our Lord Jesus Christ in the clouds, there will be no guessing or wondering. All things will be made clear. At that era God’s selected will put forth the notice of the signs and wonders to observe for even the end is eminent. Worry then only if you do not know Him and your name isn’t recorded in the book of life. Luke 21: 25

The World Turns

THE WORLD TURNS Genesis Chapter 1 1 “In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. 2 And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. 3 And God said, Let there be light: and there was light. 4 And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness. 5 And God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And the evening and the morning were the first day. The Lord saith and I report: In the beginning God built Himself a universe. In the process of the speaking, He spoke into existence a dark planet called earth; world. Floating along in eternal darkness without purpose and lacking design it appears of total unimportance to celestial creations that never questioned or doubted God’s work. But, God was just beginning his project. Some point of eternity saw the beginning of an unfamiliar and paralleled a

Grains of Sand

GRAINS OF SAND As the last grain of sand falls through the hour glass of our life and we see the sun sitting on our final day, what will matter most? To have made a positive difference in someones life as a child of God will be victory. Put aside regrets and perceived failures. They ride on the grains of sand. Rise n ow from your bed of sorrow. Take the yoke of our Lord upon you and go forward beneath His “light load and easy burden.” Keep watch, be ready, love His coming, for the time is at hand. 2 Timothy 4: 7 “A nd they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables. 5 But watch thou in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry. 6 For I am now ready to be offered, and the time of my departure is at hand. 7 I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: 8 Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall

Borrowed Time

BORROWED TIME ‘ Oft’ have we heard the comment; “Living on borrowed time.” Such a statement is used to apply ones concerns that someone is sick unto death. How many of God’s people do we know who has and have been pronounced terminally ill and yet lived several more years. Some living today, are on such a pronouncement, yet they function in a semi-perfect manner. Prayers sent to Our Lord are always heard and stay even the hands of death. God has spoken one hundred twenty years as a deadline for life in earthlings; not that we are promised that time. There is another reference which states that humans whose life has passed the three score twenty (70) years every day there after should be counted as a special blessing. Each is a loving gift from God. Those of us seventy and older are living on borrowed time. 2 Kings Chapter 20: 1 “In those days was Hezekiah sick unto death. And the prophet Isaiah the son of Amoz came to him, and said unto him, Thus saith the LORD, Set thin

How to Pray

HOW TO PRAY Matthew 7:21 “ N ot every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.” Matthew 5:45 “ T hat ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust. Matthew 5:4 8 “Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.” 2 Peter 1:20 “ K nowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation.” What did Jesus say? Is there some special ritual? Must we shout out to God so He will surly hear and “ l end an ear?” One’s relationship with God in all things is a personal matter. We might think correctly that all who are true children of God pray. It would be easier to discover a living man that did not breathe than to find a non praying Christian. Know this: T h ere is not
