Critical Emotions
CRITICAL
EMOTIONS
Humans
possess many emotions. Some are good and some not so good. All can
be allowed to disrupt the order of life and destroy unity and
tranquility of the soul. There is love, hate, joy, despair, lust,
fear anxiety, worry and many others. There is good and bad in all.
God created them for our good but we have often gone astray and
violated His trust, using them to dishonor Him. Greed, selfishness,
hate and malice may cause us to dismiss God’s words as inapplicable
to us due to some self esteemed excuse. If there be good in us we
hear His words and obey.
Matthew
5: 42 Give
to him that asketh thee, and from him that would borrow of thee turn
not thou away. 43
Ye
have heard that it hath been said, Thou shalt love thy neighbour, and
hate thine enemy.
44
But
I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good
to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you,
and persecute you; 45
That
ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he
maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain
on the just and on the unjust.
- Luke 14:26 If any man come to me, and hate not his father, and mother, and wife, and children, and brethren, and sisters, yea, and his own life also, he cannot be my disciple. John 12:25 He that loveth his life shall lose it; and he that hateth his life in this world shall keep it unto life eternal.
-
- We cannot pick and choose. God’s commandments can be very close home and personal. Hate is an emotion contrary to love. God is love and there fore “hate” as here interpreted refers to putting God first in all things. We cannot hold in importance anything more than our Lord. But, but, but will not change God’s words. Our life is not our own but God’s; bought and paid for in blood. Owned from its creation, for He is the creator and maker of all things. ALL glory is to be to God and to this end we live and have our being. Some do not adhere to even the least of these commandments. Sorry will they be if they change not their ways, repent and be baptized into the Lord Jesus’ death, burial and resurrection.

- Romans 1: 22 Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools,
23
And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made
like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and
creeping things.
24
Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of
their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves:
25
Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served
the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.
26
For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their
women did change the natural use into that which is against nature:
27
And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman,
burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that
which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of
their error which was meet.
28
And even as they did not like to retain God in their
knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things
which are not convenient;
29
Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness,
covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit,
malignity; whisperers,
30
Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of
evil things, disobedient to parents,
32
Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things
are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them
that do them.

- In our day, we see wide spread disrespect for the guidelines for which we were created. We willingly corrupt our bodies with various emotional disruptions to the love of God. The wise will walk accordingly to the path laid out before them in Gods word; the bible. Know God, know peace. Amen 03-17-2020 BLL
