Moving
MOVING
When
God says move, move! Down through the pages of time, God has directed
people to move either temporarily or permanent for some cause or no
apparent reason. I suspect that we have the same God watching over us
today. He listens to and speaks to us through the Holy Spirit that
indwells us. Those in past times moved straight way at the commanding
of God even at prophets or others speaking words from God in His
name. They knew God well as they surly
would, if living know,
as the
promised messiah. We also shall
know him and join him in the fullness of time, so we must move when
God says move. Jesus Christ
our Lord,
will look for true believers
who move at His words, when he
comes again.
He has moved from the Garden of
Eden into these the last days; always moving selected people toward
His promise to them. If you know God, know peace by keeping His
commandments, loving Him and loving fellow human kind. Loose thyself
from the bonds that hold you steadfast to anything of the world. His
commandment to us is to love Him first and most and to love one
another as we love ourselves. If you would have eternal life, come
unto Him by faith, live by faith and enter in by faith. Unbelief is
the devils cup of poison that blocks the light of life from us. Only
one sip, sheepishly taken, and the entire cup is swallowed. Have no
part of the devil nor those following after him. They all have an
opportunity, if they have not committed a sin unto death, to gain
eternal life with Christ Jesus.
- Revelation 22:17 “And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely.”
- Revelation 3:20 “Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.
Revelation
20:15
And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into
the lake of fire. Know
God, know peace. Amen.

Genesis
8:16
And Cain went out from the presence of the LORD, and dwelt in the
land of Nod, on the east of Eden.” God
expelled him and with a
little disagreement, he moved.
- Genesis 9:18 “And the sons of Noah, that went forth of the ark, were Shem, and Ham, and Japheth: and Ham is the father of Canaan. Genesis 9:19 “These are the three sons of Noah: and of them was the whole earth overspread.” God said go, move out and replenish the earth. They went.
- Genesis 12:1 “Now the LORD had said unto Abram, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father's house, unto a land that I will shew thee:” Abram (Abraham) packed up and without argument moved. A little disobedient in that he took a family member with him other than his own. There would be heart ache associated with that mistake.
- Genesis 12:4 “So Abram departed, as the LORD had spoken unto him; and Lot went with him: and Abram was seventy and five years old when he departed out of Haran.
-
14
And the LORD said unto Abram, after that Lot was separated from him,
Lift up now thine eyes, and look from the place where thou art
northward, and southward, and eastward, and westward:” “Lot
had chosen the highlights and green fields around Sodom. Abraham
moved in another direction and camped in the desert.”17
Arise, walk through the land in the length of it and in the breadth
of it; for I will give it unto thee.1
And
it came to pass after these things, that God did tempt Abraham, and
said unto him, Abraham: and he said, Behold, here
I am.”Abraham
moved.
Genesis
22:2
And he said, Take now thy son, thine only son
Isaac, whom thou lovest, and get thee into the land of Moriah; and
offer him there for a burnt offering upon one of the mountains which
I will tell thee of.
3
And
Abraham rose up early in the morning, and saddled his ass, and took
two of his
young men with him, and Isaac his son, and clave the wood for the
burnt offering, and rose up, and went unto the place of which God had
told him.” A
terrible test of god of Abrahams faith. Yet, when God said go he
moved.
18
Then Abram removed his
tent, and came and dwelt in the plain of Mamre, which is
in Hebron, and built there an altar unto the LORD.” Then
we read of Jonah.
Jonah
1:1
Now the word of the LORD came unto Jonah the son of Amittai, saying,
2 Arise, go to Nineveh, that great city, and cry against it; for
their wickedness is come up before me.
Jonah
1:17
Now the LORD had prepared a great fish to swallow up Jonah. And Jonah
was in the belly of the fish three days and three nights.
Jonah
1:10
“And the LORD spake unto the fish, and it vomited out Jonah upon
the dry land.
Jonah
1:2
Arise, go unto Nineveh, that great city, and preach unto it the
preaching that I bid thee.
3
So Jonah arose, and went unto Nineveh, according to the word of the
LORD. Now Nineveh was an exceeding great city of three days'
journey.” Jonah
moved but in the wrong direction. God put him back on the right path
in a way he would not soon forget and as a lesson for us.
- Exodus 2:15 “Now when Pharaoh heard this thing, he sought to slay Moses. But Moses fled from the face of Pharaoh, and dwelt in the land of Midian: and he sat down by a well.” Though we do not hear God telling him to flee, He must have for later he told him to return when the fullness of time is upon him. 15 And God said moreover unto Moses, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, The LORD God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, hath sent me unto you:”
Mat.
28:16
Then the eleven disciples went away into Galilee, into a mountain
where Jesus had appointed them. 17 And when they saw him, they
worshipped him: but some doubted.
18
“And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given
unto me in heaven and in earth. 19 Go ye therefore, and teach all
nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son,
and of the Holy Ghost: 20 Teaching them to observe all things
whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even
unto the end of the world. Amen.
