Away
AWAY
- “Away in a manger, no crib for his bed; the little Lord Jesus lay down His sweet head” (A hyme of old) Jeremiah 23:23 Am I a God at hand, saith the LORD, and not a God afar off? 1 Corinthians 6:11 “And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God.
- Hebrews 4:4 “Seeing then that we have a great high priest, that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our profession. 15 For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin. 16 Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need
- Genesis 18:3 And said, My Lord, if now I have found favour in thy sight, pass not away, I pray thee, from thy servant” (Revelation 7:12) “saying, Amen: Blessing, and glory, and wisdom, and thanksgiving, and honour, and power, and might, be unto our God for ever and ever. Amen.
- And so it is written in the books of heaven and in earth. Our Lord is not far away but at hand: at the ready to hear our voices. He came to us on earth in the following manner:
- Matthew 1:15 “And Eliud begat Eleazar; and Eleazar begat Matthan; and Matthan begat Jacob; 16 And Jacob begat Joseph the husband of Mary, of whom was born Jesus, who is called Christ. 17 So all the generations from Abraham to David are fourteen generations; and from David until the carrying away into Babylon are fourteen generations; and from the carrying away into Babylon unto Christ are fourteen generations.”
- This proves that our Lord Jesus is of the nation and family out of which the Messiah was to arise and did arise. In the far away past; Beginning with Abraham and his seed and continuing through David and his seed, all history knew Christ should descend from him, (Genesis 12:3; 22:18); Clearly Jesus would descend from David (2 Samuel 7:12; Psalms 89:3, and; 132:11); and, therefore, unless Jesus is a son of David, and a descendant of Abraham, then He was not the Messiah. Now this is here proven from well-known records. When the Son of God was pleased to take our nature, he came near to us, in our fallen, wretched condition; but he was perfectly free from sin: and while we read the names in his genealogy, we should take note of the life conditions on earth in those periods of time. The circumstances under which the Son of God entered into this world will make our appreciation of His sacrifice even greater. The glorious record of Christ's geology surly will not be skipped over as a bunch of names we can’t pronounce and not interested in reading. Christ left eternity to slip into time with it’s cruel decay and partook of our nature. Born without sin, he lived without sin but to die there must be sin in the flesh so He accepted our sins and made the ultimate sacrifice.

Jesus
Christ
came to save his people, not in their sins, but from their sins; and
so to redeem them from among men, to himself, who is separate from
sinners. Joseph did as the angel of the Lord had bidden him,
speedily, without delay, and cheerfully, without dispute. We
should in all the planned
ways
of our lives, take direction from God; we shall find in
this
safety
and comfort.
Matthew 25:45 “then shall he answer them, saying, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye did it not to one of the least of these, ye did it not to me. 46 And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal. - John 16:7 “Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you.”
-
- Matthew 27:2 “And when they had bound him, they led him away, and delivered him to Pontius Pilate the governor.
- Matthew 27:31 “And after that they had mocked him, they took the robe off from him, and put his own raiment on him, and led him away to crucify him. (Matthew 28): 3 And they said among themselves, Who shall roll us away the stone from the door of the sepulchre? 4 And when they looked, they saw that the stone was rolled away: for it was very great. 5 And entering into the sepulchre, they saw a young man sitting on the right side, clothed in a long white garment; and they were affrighted. 6 And he saith unto them, Be not affrighted: Ye seek Jesus of Nazareth, which was crucified: he is risen; he is not here: behold the place where they laid him.
- Luke 21:33 “Heaven and earth shall pass away: but my words shall not pass away.
- James 4:14 |”Whereas ye know not what shall be on the morrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapour, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away. Revelation 7:17 “For the Lamb which is in the midst of the throne shall feed them, and shall lead them unto living fountains of waters: and God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes.
- Revelation 21:4 “And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.
- Revelation 22:19 “And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book. Know God, know peace. Amen. 03-20-2020 BLL
