Stand Out
STAND
OUT
Early
in this day, as I lay contemplating the imminent beginning of
research for morning’s bible posting, my mind soared through many
topics in a few seconds and came smartly to rest on Hebrews twelve
verse one. I do not know how other men of God decide what their
sermons will incorporate but God is the storehouse of biblical
knowledge. If we are not in the Word we certainly are not in the will
of God.
When
the time came to open studies, a man of the devil had left a message
refuting the entire bible And all its Holy Words as a history book
not to be a source of life planning nor belief. Wanting to address
his comments, witness, with bible truths and work with him was
thwarted because of my promise to God to first attend to His morning
devotional. He was from the Devil or was old Lucifer himself.
Afterwards, a diligent search for the man and message could not
locate either. Hidden, the condescending message or the man was
nowhere too be seen.
Just
as we Christians, who believe in Jesus’ sacrificial death, burial,
resurrection again to life and ascension to send the Holy Ghost
Comforter, Satan has his own who stand out and confuse those not in
or not solidly versed in the Word of God. 1
Corinthians 2:14
- But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God:
for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know [them],
because they are spiritually discerned. Romans
3:3 -
For
what if some did not believe? shall their unbelief make the faith of
God without effect?
4 God forbid: yea, let God be true, but every man a liar; as it is
written, Romans
1:20
- For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are
clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, [even]
his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:
Hebrews
12:1
“Wherefore
seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of
witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so
easily beset us,(unbelief)
and let us run with patience the race that is set before us,
2
Looking
unto Jesus the author and finisher of our
faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross,
despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne
of God. 3
For
consider him that endured such contradiction of sinners against
himself, lest ye be wearied and faint in your minds. 4
Ye
have not yet resisted unto blood, striving against sin.”
I
stand on the word of God that these truths are self evident in
nature, creations and first hand witnesses. Everything was made from
nothing, is not simple history. It speaks vividly of the work of God
and no story could have been written by human hand. It is the true
word of God. 2
Peter
3:
10
“But
the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which
the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements
shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are
therein shall be burned up. 11
Seeing
then that
all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of
persons
ought ye to be in all
holy conversation and godliness,” John
20: 24
But
Thomas, one of the twelve, called Didymus, was not with them when
Jesus came. 25
The
other disciples therefore said unto him, We have seen the Lord. But
he said unto them, Except I shall see in his hands the print of the
nails, and put my finger into the print of the nails, and thrust my
hand into his side, I will not believe. 26
And
after eight days again his disciples were within, and Thomas with
them: then
came Jesus, the doors being shut, and stood in the midst, and said,
Peace be
unto you. 27
Then
saith he to Thomas, Reach hither thy finger, and behold my hands; and
reach hither thy hand, and thrust it
into my side: and be not faithless, but believing.
28
And
Thomas answered and said unto him, My Lord and my God. 29
Jesus
saith unto him, Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast
believed: blessed are
they that have not seen, and yet
have believed.
Twelve
living and walking with Jesus saw Him after His resurrection
and identified him. These bear record of the truth of his teaching
and His sacrificial death, burial and resurrection from the dead.

Peter 3:11
“But,
beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is
with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. 9
The
Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count
slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any
should perish, but that all should come to repentance. 10
But
the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which
the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements
shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are
therein shall be burned up. 11
Seeing
then that
all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of
persons
ought ye to be in all
holy conversation and godliness,” Thousands
walked with and spoke
with Jesus before and after His resurrection
and saw the mighty miracles that He did. 1
Corinthians 15: 6
After that, he was seen of above five hundred brethren at once; of
whom the greater part remain unto this present, but some are fallen
asleep. 7 After that, he was seen of James; then of all the apostles.
8 And last of all he was seen of me also, as of one born out of due
time. 9 For I am the least of the apostles, that am not meet to be
called an apostle, because I persecuted the church of God. 10 But by
the grace of God I am what I am: and his grace which was
bestowed
upon me was not in vain; but I laboured more abundantly than they
all: yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me.”
How
will they know? How will we stand?
Many
of them made written record of such independently and without
cohesion.
Placed in a Holy book, The Bible, by royal order to
Scribes who were sworn to be diligent in the correctness of
translation,
it has endured the test of time. Men have sought to disprove
the words and to destroy the book but cannot. I testify to you
through the Holy Spirit that God’s Word is true, real and
infallible. Let us then as Christians stand as Paul wrote to the
church at Philippi.
Philippians
4:8
Finally,
brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest,
whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever
things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be
any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.
Know
God, know peace. 03-24-2020 BLL
