Hot

HOT
Know this, when God said that He would provide our every need, he did not say how He would do It. If we hunger, it may not be a five course meal that He places upon our plate. It may not be hot and delicious. But it will be clean, nourishing and eatable. Take therefore all blessings of God, as food from our father, with thanksgiving and be glad. Be filled on the day blessings flow for there is only the Day before us for us to labor and be satisfied.
Exodus 16:21 “And they gathered it every morning, every man according to his eating: and when the sun waxed hot, it melted.”
We must get a mindset that it is all between us and God. We must consider the needs of others as well. All are creations of God and, as such, worthy to be ministered unto in a holy manner. Hording without a purpose is not Gods will.
Exodus 22: “21 Thou shalt neither vex a stranger, nor oppress him: for ye were strangers in the land of Egypt. 22 Ye shall not afflict any widow, or fatherless child. 23 If thou afflict them in any wise, and they cry at all unto me, I will surely hear their cry; 24 And my wrath shall wax hot, and I will kill you with the sword; and your wives shall be widows, and your children fatherless. 25 If thou lend money to any of my people that is poor by thee, thou shalt not be to him as an usurer, neither shalt thou lay upon him usury.”
We know that God’s word tells is to “neither a borrower or lender be.” It is better that we lend not, neither borrow not. In our society it has become necessary and acceptably to keep the will of God toward brothers and sisters. It is better to give than to loan. Better to borrow than to steal. There will be consequences either way. Moses learned the unpredictable nature of those blessed of God.
Exodus 32: 7 “And the LORD said unto Moses, Go, get thee down; for thy people, which thou broughtest out of the land of Egypt, have corrupted themselves: 8 They have turned aside quickly out of the way which I commanded them: they have made them a molten calf, and have worshipped it, and have sacrificed thereunto, and said, These be thy gods, O Israel, which have brought thee up out of the land of Egypt. 9 And the LORD said unto Moses, I have seen this people, and, behold, it is a stiffnecked people: 10 Now therefore let me alone, that my wrath may wax hot against them, and that I may consume them: and I will make of thee a great nation. 11 And Moses besought the LORD his God, and said, LORD, why doth thy wrath wax hot against thy people, which thou hast brought forth out of the land of Egypt with great power, and with a mighty hand?
Moses knew the Word of God. Thus he could intercede logically with God and soothe his anger. He was their advocate before God just as Jesus became for Christians. But Moses anger burned hot also when he witnessed the voluntary depravity to which the Children had sunk.
Exodus 33: 25 And when Moses saw that the people were naked; (for Aaron had made them naked unto their shame among their enemies:) 26 Then Moses stood in the gate of the camp, and said, Who is on the LORD'S side? let him come unto me. And all the sons of Levi gathered themselves together unto him. 27 And he said unto them, Thus saith the LORD God of Israel, Put every man his sword by his side, and go in and out from gate to gate throughout the camp, and slay every man his brother, and every man his companion, and every man his neighbour. 28 And the children of Levi did according to the word of Moses: and there fell of the people that day about three thousand men.”
Willfully veering from the plan God has for us is a deadly game that we should not play. God is serious. He doesn’t play games. Individuals, groups or nations are all subject to His will. Noah and his story is proof that all the world must kneel and answer to God.
Judges 2:14 “And the anger of the LORD was hot against Israel, and he delivered them into the hands of spoilers that spoiled them, and he sold them into the hands of their enemies round about, so that they could not any longer stand before their enemies.
Judges 2:20 “And the anger of the LORD was hot against Israel; and he said, Because that this people hath transgressed my covenant which I commanded their fathers, and have not hearkened unto my voice;
Even though a nation may gain God’s wrath with their disobedience, individuals who serve Him and keep His commandments while living among disobedient and/or alien nations may be kept by His mighty power and love. He does not desert those who keep the faith.
Judges 3:8 “therefore the anger of the LORD was hot against Israel, and he sold them into the hand of Chushanrishathaim king of Mesopotamia: and the children of Israel served Chushanrishathaim eight years. 22 Therefore because the king's commandment was urgent, and the furnace exceeding hot, the flame of the fire slew those men that took up Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego. 23 And these three men, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, fell down bound into the midst of the burning fiery furnace. 24 Then Nebuchadnezzar the king was astonied, and rose up in haste, and spake, and said unto his counsellors, Did not we cast three men bound into the midst of the fire? They answered and said unto the king, True, O king. 25 He answered and said, Lo, I see four men loose, walking in the midst of the fire, and they have no hurt; and the form of the fourth is like the Son of God.”
The three held fast to their faith and trust in God so must we when we face daily obsticles as well as mighty tribulation. We must never depart from the faith.
I Timothy 4:1 Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils; 2 Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron; 3 Forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from meats, which God hath created to be received with thanksgiving of them which believe and know the truth. 4 For every creature of God is good, and nothing to be refused, if it be received with thanksgiving: 5 For it is sanctified by the word of God and prayer.
Revelation 3:15 “I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot. Revelation 3:16 “So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth.”
