The Church Part Seven

THE CHURCH PART SEVEN

There is a church group that closes every group singing with a song that has these words: “If you are in the battle for the Lord and right, keep on the firing line; If you would win my brother surly you must fight/ You must fight, be brave, against all evil, never run or even lag behind. If you would win for God and the right, keep on the firing line.
Lesson six put forth the church attitude that some are still experiencing. Here and there are a remnant of the true church worshiping children of God. There is a great Luke warm attitude blending into the Laodicean style of worship. God is not pleased with that method of church living. Do we, as the waning church, type take our ease because our worship methods are fading into a new apostate era? NO! Let us consider what an old time Southern preacher said: “It’s time for our church to wake up and sing up, pray up and preach up and never give up or let up or back up or shut up, until the church is filled up or we go up. Amen.” So here we find ourselves in the onset of the seventh message sent to the church. It is that time and and the beginning of the end of time.
Time lines between the church types are indistinctly suttle but observable. There are types from all periods present today in unknown numbers. However we are to consider the “Luke warm Church” in this lesson.
Rev. 3: 14 “And unto the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write; These things saith the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation of God; 15I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot. 16So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth. 17Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked:” 18 I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest see.
19 As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent.
20 Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.
21 To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne.
22 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.”
Those of the church on the way out and up. Must work and pray for a turning back of deceived worshipers who are led by deceived and apostate presenters of church services. “There ain’t no stopping place down here.” There is a God given method of reaching out and it is not found in government programs, lobbying activities, civil disobedience or pressure groups. I find no place in God’s Word where this is advocated or condoned. The mission of those in the weening church of Philadelphia is witnessing to lost souls of the redemption available through the Lord Jesus Christ.
There are evidences that the church creeping onto the scene today will be in existence when Jesus comes in the clouds to snatch His church, his bride, quickly away. Compare the status of the readings concerning this seventh church perios in history to the booming churches of today. There is a great danger of the easy admittance into the apostate worship groups and the bells and whistles of drawing young Christians in to the luke warm flock. Some sit on pews today ready to make the leap into destructive behavior. The field is ripe, where are the workers?
The Holy Spirit stands at the ready should one seek repentance. He has control over the evil one, letting him perform his magic as it pleases God. He controls the old slew foot. It may seem a mystery to us. (2 Thessalonians 2:7)For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way.” When the true believers and the dead in Christ experience the harpazo of Christ, wholesale and quick taking away, the Holy Spirit leaves with them and the devil is not restrained.
1 Thessalonians 4:16 “But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope. 14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him. 15 For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep. 16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: 17  Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up (harpazo/rapture) together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. 18 Wherefore comfort one another with these words.
Accept God’s offer of eternal life on faith; now! If not, soon there will come an accounting as His children are whisked away from the wrath of God to come. Revelation 16:15 “Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed is he that watcheth, and keepeth his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame.”
The lukewarm church which is growing prolifically today will have missed the mark of perfection required of God to take that glorious ride on the clouds with Jesus to forever be with Him. Christians reach as many as you can while you can. It will be a terrible time for those left behind. Warn them now while there is still time. When the church that is drifting from the reformed principals of Christianity into a lukewarm, half right/half amiss, church of the seventh sector of God’s plan for human kind sees the second coming there will be no hope. The devil has his, don’t be one of them.
Luke 13:28 “There shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth, when ye shall see Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, and all the prophets, in the kingdom of God, and you yourselves thrust out. Ephesians 5:15 “See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise, Revelation 1:7 “Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen.” Know God, know peace. 03-04-2020 BLL
