Grains of Sand
GRAINS
OF SAND
As
the last grain of sand falls through the hour glass of our life and
we see the sun sitting on our final day, what will matter most? To
have made a positive difference in someones life as a child of God
will be victory. Put aside regrets and perceived failures. They ride
on the grains of sand. Rise now
from your bed of sorrow. Take the yoke of our Lord upon you and go
forward beneath His “light load and easy burden.” Keep
watch, be ready, love His coming, for the time is at hand.

Timothy 4: 7
“And
they shall turn away their
ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables. 5
But
watch thou in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an
evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry. 6
For
I am now ready to be offered, and the time of my departure is at
hand. 7
I
have fought a good fight, I have finished my
course, I have kept the faith:

Henceforth
there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the
righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but
unto all them also that love his appearing.”Genesis

“And
Abraham called the name of that place Jehovahjireh: as it is said to
this day, In the mount of the LORD it shall be seen. 15
And
the angel of the LORD called unto Abraham out of heaven the second

done this thing, and hast not withheld thy son, thine only son:

That
in blessing I will bless thee, and in multiplying I will multiply thy
seed as the stars of the heaven, and as the sand which is
upon the sea shore; and thy seed shall possess the gate of his
enemies;”
Hebrews
11:12 “By
faith he sojourned in the land of promise, as in
a strange country, dwelling in tabernacles with Isaac and Jacob, the
heirs with him of the same promise: 10
For
he looked for a city which hath foundations, whose builder and maker
is
God. 11
Through
faith also Sara herself received strength to conceive seed, and was
delivered of a child when she was past age, because she judged him
faithful who had promised. 12
Therefore
sprang there even of one, and him as good as dead, so
many
as the stars of the sky in multitude, and as the sand which is by the
sea shore innumerable.
13
These
all died in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen
them afar off, and were persuaded of them,
and embraced them,
and confessed that they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth. 14
For
they that say such things declare plainly that they seek a country.
Consider
the numbers. The world is over crowded and ripe for the last grain of
sand to drop through God’s measuring glass and the ending of
created time. When the great day of the Lord will come is not known.
It will not be known until His appearing. It
will be after the taking away of the saints (church) and after the
one thousand year reign is completed. Then the forgiven, evil, dead
shall rise to face the wrath of God’s judgment.
Revelation
20: 5
“But
the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were
finished. This is
the first resurrection. 6
Blessed
and holy is
he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death
hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and
shall reign with him a thousand years. 7
And
when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his
prison, 8
And
shall go out to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of
the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battle: the
number of whom is
as the sand of the sea.
9
And
they went up on the breadth of the earth, and compassed the camp of
the saints about, and the beloved city: and fire came down from God
out of heaven, and devoured them. 10
And
the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and
brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are,
and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.”
Time
don’t run out on me until I can say with certainty those words
brother Paul spoke: “I have fought the good fight, I have kept the
faith. Amen.
