Antipication

ANTICIPATION
Tomorrow! Tomorrow is going to be a fantastic day. There is a group meeting at Lake Park and everyone is invited. There will be ton’s of food, games and merry making. Tomorrow will be a great day!

Wait! What if tomorrow never comes? Have we loved one another enough today to face God justified? The second greatest commandment, according to Jesus, is love thy brother and sister as you love yourself. Put all things aside and love God first and foremost. (Matthew 22:37)

The life God invested in us is not ours to manage. We cannot know what plans God has for us Their quality we can know: (Jeremiah 29:11) “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.” (Romans 8:28) “And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.”

It is expedient to understand that God is supreme. He has plans for ever situation and life. They will not be modified in order for us to have fun and a good time. It might be that that is in his plan and if so it will happen but anticipation indicates an assurance of some happening. We can anticipate the calling of the Lord for his saints, dead and living, but is to be a contentious anticipation. He is coming and soon. (James 5:8 )
Be ye also patient; stablish your hearts: for the coming of the Lord draweth nigh.” (Matthew 6:34) “Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.”

Micah 6:8: “He hath shewed thee, O man, what is good; and what doth the LORD require of thee, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God? (John 14:23) “... If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him. (Luke 12:22) “... he said unto his disciples, Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat; neither for the body, what ye shall put on.” We worry, we plan and we anticipate things over which God alone has control. You will know you are become God’s child. Anticipate with control and in knowledge of God’s Word. He will cone again just as He said that He would, ready or not; anticipating a geat future will not stay His return. (Mat 27) 36 “But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only. 37 But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. 38 For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, 39 And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.”

We may anticipate some grand happening and plan the date. Guests might be invited to attend. God is most often left out of the planning and inviting. 12There is one lawgiver, who is able to save and to destroy: who art thou that judgest another? (James 4) 13 Go to now, ye that say, To day or to morrow we will go into such a city, and continue there a year, and buy and sell, and get gain: 14 Whereas ye know not what shall be on the morrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapour, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away. 15 For that ye ought to say, If the Lord will, we shall live, and do this, or that. 16 But now ye rejoice in your boastings: all such rejoicing is evil. 17 Therefore to him that knoweth to do good, and doeth it not, to him it is sin.”

Christ has all the answers. We must love Him to be his child and let Him Know our love. (John 14:15)If ye love me, keep my commandments.” (1John 4:8) “He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love. (Revelation 3:19) “As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent.” (Mark 13:33 Take ye heed, watch and pray: for ye know not when the time is.” (Matthew 24:27) “For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.” (John 5:25) “Verily, verily, I say unto you, The hour is coming, and now is, when the dead shall hear the voice of the Son of God: and they that hear shall live.” Know God, know peace.
