Find & Seek

FIND & SEEK

Acts 17:27

24 “God that made the world and all things therein, seeing that he is Lord of heaven and earth, dwelleth not in temples made with hands; 25 Neither is worshipped with men's hands, as though he needed any thing, seeing he giveth to all life, and breath, and all things; 26 And hath made of one blood all nations of men for to dwell on all the face of the earth, and hath determined the times before appointed, and the bounds of their habitation; 27 That they should seek the Lord, if haply they might feel after him, and find him, though he be not far from every one of us: 28 For in him we live, and move, and have our being;

Jesus came not to play hide and seek with a hell bound people. He came to reveal a path in the other direction. As a manner of speaking, He must be sought but, due to the softness of His heart, he hides in plain view and lays out directions to where he can be found. Once we find Him, nothing is ever the same as it had been. Once we have spiritually touched the hem of His garment, we are given by Him a new life that never grows old. We are then called a child of God. Cleansed of all sin and in the flesh, the Spirit soars as an eagle flies.

Conversation and interaction is desired by our Heavenly Father. He encourages fervency and constancy in prayer. We must seek Him to obtain His promises. We must know that He never leaves us and will always hear and recognize our voice. Hebrews 11:6 “But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.”

We must come prayerfully seeking that which is needful. We must come believing in the willingness and assurance that Our Lord will provide our every need. If God does not answer our prayers speedily, patience is require; he will in due time. Still, we continue to pray; seeking first the kingdom of heaven and all else will be given us. We seek the will of God in prayers and ask for the Holy Spirit to lead us to in praying well, but as all spiritual blessings are included in that sector of the God Head. For by the influences of the Holy Spirit we are brought to know God and ourselves, to repent, believe in, and love Christ. His spirit stands at the ready: Matthew 7: 7 “Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: 8 For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.” Armes are wide open, inviting seekers to find pease of mind in their Love. In this way, we are made comfortable in this world, and gain streingth for happiness in the next. All these blessings our heavenly Father is more ready to bestow on every one that asks for them, than an indulgent parent is to give food to a hungry child. And this is the advantage of the prayer of faith, that it quiets and establishes the heart in God. He is a jealous God and can be brought to anger quickly if ignored. Zephaniah 2:3 “Seek ye the LORD, all ye meek of the earth, which have wrought his judgment; seek righteousness, seek meekness: it may be ye shall be hid in the day of the LORD'S anger.”

There is coming a day when the wrath of God will be poured out on all non-believing people. God would not allow His “perfect” children to experience His Judgmental wrath. Seek him while you can still find Him. Following the taking out of the church, Bride of Christ, there will be horrible days as has never been before. Revelation 9:6 “And in those days shall men seek death, and shall not find it; and shall desire to die, and death shall flee from them.” Only seek Him before the sounding of the trumb. When you hear its chilling moan, it is too late; you are left behind if you have not found Him. Know God, know peace. Amen. 01-28-2020 BLL
