Trust

Trust

It might have been an eon past when the local law enforcement community coined the phrase: “Trust me, I’m here to help you.” This phrase was attributed to FBI agents who came into an investigation to “help” solve the crime. They were suspected of taking information offered and hoarding information received. Some officers had a firm belief that this stigma attached to agents was true. True or not, in all walks of life, relations have to be built on trust. There must exist a feeling of confidence,belief, andfaith in any arrangement whereby people unite in pursuit of a common goal. Whether it be in personal relationships, community development or religious doctrine and worship, trust is the number one ingredient solidifying the success of the endeavor. Trust in the Lord Jesus Christ amounts to faith and faith always yields results. Trust in temporal things of this world will always end in disaster.

Mark 10:24 And the disciples were astonished at his words. But Jesus answereth again, and saith unto them, Children, how hard is it for them that trust in riches to enter into the kingdom of God! (Luke 11:22) But when a stronger than he shall come upon him, and overcome him, he taketh from him all his armour wherein he trusted, and divideth his spoils.”
Luke 16:11 Iftherefore ye have not been faithful in the unrighteous mammon, who will commit to your trust the true riches?”
Hebrews 2:13 And again, I will put my trust in him. And again, Behold I and the children which God hath given me.
1 Timothy 6:17 Charge them that are rich in this world, that they be not highminded, nor trust in uncertain riches, but in the living God, who giveth us richly all things to enjoy;”
2 Corinthians 1:9 But we had the sentence of death in ourselves, that we should not trust in ourselves, but in God which raiseth the dead:”
2 Corinthians 1:10 Who delivered us from so great a death, and doth deliver: in whom we trust that he will yet deliver us;”
2 Corinthians 1:13 For we write none other things unto you, than what ye read or acknowledge; and I trust ye shall acknowledge even to the end;
2 Corinthians 3:4 And such trust have we through Christ to God-ward: (Hebrews 2:13) And again, I will put my trust in him. And again, Behold I and the children which God hath given me.”
Know God, know peace. Amen. 03/11/21 BLL
