Canceled Plans
Canceled Plans
We plan, design, work and manipulate God’s creation. We say we will do this or that; go here or there. Wars are fought. Schemes are made from the cradle to the grave on all levels involving human kind. Some are successful; most often to the determent. Most never maturalize. Some get canceled from the start. All in all, it is not we humans but God who has the final say. When we buck His master plan, He is not happy and we fail. He told Adam what His plan was for humans. He came thousands of years later and told us. Outside the will of God, nothing prospers. He cancels plans made in nonconformity. He has plans for us and we should strive to seek them out in reading His Word and prayer.
Jeremiah 29:11 “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.”
We are told to ask all things in Jesus name that we might receive as we believe. “If it be thy will that we live” was his order for our stating our plans. He also said: “all good things come from above.” There are many canceled plans if we live long enough to make plans. God’s plans for us are never canceled. Some may be altered to fit His will for us. We know the plans he has for us.
Matthew 6:8... your Father knoweth what things ye have need of, before ye ask him. 9 After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. 10 Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.”
Matthew 5:33 “Again, ye have heard that it hath been said by them of old time, Thou shalt not forswear thyself, but shalt perform unto the Lord thine oaths: 34 But I say unto you, Swear not at all;...(36) Neither shalt thou swear by thy head, because thou canst not make one hair white or black. 37 But let your communication be, Yea, yea; Nay, nay: for whatsoever is more than these cometh of evil.”
Romans 12:2 “...be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what [is] that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.”
- 3 John 1:2 “Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.”
- Go forth in the will of God. Know God, know peace. Amen 01/08/21 BLL
