Compare

Compare

Somewhere in time past, someone wrote something that we need to consider. Paraphrased it stated,: I complained because my hands trembled until I met a man who had no hands. I complained with pain in my feet until I met a man with no feet. Consider and compare your complaints with those living around you. Even though you may be ‘plowing in rough ground,’ someone is in a rock pile. Think before you criticize. Pause before leaping to conclusions. Above all, don’t give up on Christ. President John F. Kennedy stated,” in this world Christs work must surly be our own.”

Our Lord has no hands except for our hands, to do His work today; He has no feet; only our feet to lead the lost into His way. He has no tongue; only our tongues to spread word of His love. We are the only bible that the people truly read; We are a message from God, written in works and words.

We can’t expect smooth sailing all the time. But, Jesus is always with us. In Him we can express the essence of humanity. Walking for Him, we experience the full range of human awareness. It isn’t easy, serving the Lord. But he said troubles would come. When they appear See It Through:  By Edgar Guest “When you’re up against a trouble, Meet it squarely, face to face;
Lift your chin and set your shoulders, Plant your feet and take a brace.” Jesus faced death on the cross, silently and bravely.

John 19:17 “And he bearing his cross went forth into a place called the place of a skull,...Golgotha: [18] Where they crucified him,...”
Colossians 2:14  “...nailing it to his cross;” The law went with Him to the cross.

You have escaped the cage. Your wings are stretched out. Now fly.” (Rumi)

Jesus had hands and feet. He walked as we walk. But, having ascended back to the father in heaven, he has need for our feet and hands in field work for Him.
Matthew 14: “...when he [Peter]...cried, saying, Lord, save me. 31 And immediately Jesus stretched forth his hand, and caught him,...”
John 10:28 “And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.
John 20:25 Except I [Thomas] shall see in his hands the print of the nails, and put my finger into the print of the nails,...” [John 20:27] Then saith he to Thomas, Reach hither thy finger, and behold my hands;...”
Romans 13:12 The night is far spent, the day is at hand: let us therefore cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armour of light.”
Be the feet and hands of our Lord. Know God, know peace. Amen. 01/14/21 BLL
