Agreement

Several times I have performed multiple tasks related to service in the job or the church. Particularly in the church, I have filled the seat of board chairperson, secretary and treasurer. Lack of interest or other causes prevented board members from accepting the secretarial or treasurer positions. There are distinct and obvious advantages to being all three. One normally does not argue with themselves concerning transactions. But, if there are three persons, one in each position, there must be a unanimous agreement concerning task completions. Of course the working principles are set by the board of directors and follow written guidelines. On earth it is difficult to get even two to agree on anything. In the Spiritual realm, there is no disagreement. In order to get control of COVID-19 and its mutant friend, all must draw into agreement in the fight against them.

Galatians 5:14 “For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this; Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. 15 But if ye bite and devour one another, take heed that ye be not consumed one of another. 16 This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh.” [Romans 8:5] “For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit.

1 John 5:4 “For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith. 5 Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God? (7) For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one. 8 And there are three that bear witness in earth, the Spirit, and the water, and the blood: and these three agree in one.” 

Ephesians 6:10 “Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. 11 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. 12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

So then, let us agree to wipe out this virus. Looking to peace and a better government. Using love as the guide book and the bible as our policy and procedures manual. Amen. 01/11/21 BLL
