Implied Authority

Implied Authority

As the years rolled on and work was possible with we who are now in dotage, there was a method of accomplishing the passing on of tasks in a way sure to “get-er-done.” Some underling without authority would approach another carrying a message. Preceded by “so and so said,” they would possess authority and the work was accomplished just as though the command had been personally given by the higher authority. Along with the passing of tasks, came commensurate authority. Both are necessary for the desired results to naturalize. So it is with Jesus our Lord.

Asking in Jesus name carries more than the spoken word. “In Jesus Name” displays entitlement of its use. Entitlement materializes in a life being dedicated completely to serving Him. Not merely an utterance of the name of Jesus but a heart filled with His spirit and works of joy passes messages back and forth through our great High priest.

1 John 2:1 My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous:

1 Corinthians 12:3 Wherefore I give you to understand, that no man speaking by the Spirit of God calleth Jesus accursed: and that no man can say that Jesus is the Lord, but by the Holy Ghost.”
John 14:13 “And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. (14) “If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it.
John 14:26 But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.
Romans 8:39 Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
James 2:26 “For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.”
1 Peter 3:15 “But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear:”
Know God, know peace. Amen. 01/04/21 BLL
