An Odd Thing (Part two of two)
Some seventy years an odd thing happened to two little boys on the way to grandma's house. They were as homeless as children could be and still have a dwelling place; they were runaways. They never intended returning “home.” etc [see part one]
”Exodus 14:21 “And Moses stretched out his hand over the sea; and the Lord caused the sea to go back by a strong east wind all that night, and made the sea dry land, and the waters were divided. 22 And the children of Israel went into the midst of the sea upon the dry ground: and the waters were a wall unto them on their right hand, and on their left.” NOW THAT’S ODD! 1 Deuteronomy 28 “...The people is greater and taller than we; the cities are great and walled up to heaven; and moreover we have seen the sons of the Anakims there. [34] And the LORD heard the voice of your words, and was wroth, and sware, saying, [35] Surely there shall not one of these men of this evil generation see that good land, which I sware to give unto your fathers, 36 Save Caleb the son of Jephunneh; he shall see it, and to him will I give the land that he hath trodden upon, and to his children, because he hath wholly followed the Lord. 37 Also the Lord was angry with me (Moses) for your sakes, saying, Thou also shalt not go in thither. 38 But Joshua the son of Nun, which standeth before thee, he shall go in thither: encourage him: for he shall cause Israel to inherit it.” NOW THAT’S ODD!
Matthew 24:37 “But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.”
Matthew 24:38 “For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark,” NOW THAT’S ODD!
1 Peter 4:9 “Use hospitality one to another without grudging. [12] Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you: 13 But rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ's sufferings; that, when his glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy. 
The fact that we deserve none of this but God loves us anyway is really ODD! Know God, know peace. Amen. 01/07/21 BLL

A Giving Heart

  A GIVING HEART “ Then the people rejoiced, for that they offered willingly, because with perfect heart they offered willingly to the LORD: and David the king also rejoiced with great joy.” (1 Chronicles 29:9) Israel’s people brought gifts for the construction of the holy temple in Jerusalem, it is mentioned no less than six times in this chapter that their offerings were willing offerings. Know Peace

  Know Peace   Peace is a product of love. Only through deep love will you discover God and in God there is peace. God is love. Pour out love with legs one to another and don’t expect anything in return. When we love with conditions attached, our unmet expectations can create inner turmoil and feelings of resentment. A mind without the security of knowing God is grieved. It has no lasting peace.   Those who love one another are heard laughing often. Peace of mind is better when you have a laughter-filled life. Laughter is a great antidote for stress and releases hormones that help us relax.
