Temperature
- Temperature
- With the Corona Virus on the rampage and being long in duration, the first check front-line wellness workers make for its presence is body temperature. All warm blooded animals have a body temperature, set by God, that remains constant unless some malfunction in or to the body causes it to rise or fall.
- Typically anything in the range of (97* to 99* F) is considered normal, but there are times when a perfectly healthy person might have a body temperature that’s slightly higher or slightly lower than that. “Normal” temperature (normothermia) is the typical temperature range. But, it depends on gender, age, time of day, exertion level, or health status. Body temperature is kept in normal range by thermoregulation, in which adjustment of temperature is triggered by the central nervous system. Hypothermia occurs when your body loses heat faster than it can produce it and causes a dangerously low body temperature.
- In spite of large fluctuations in external temperatures, the human body is capable of maintaining its normal temperature. But, high body temperature, known as ‘hyperthermia‘ or ‘fever’ and very low temperature ‘hypothermia‘ are equally dangerous. God made Adam with perfect body temperature that never would have changed had he kept God’s commandments. Sickness, injuries and maladies came as a result of his fall from Grace. We live that curse and it s devastating at times. One such malady will result in our death. Only God can refute Satan's wish for our torment and untimate death. In Christ Jesus we have eternal life and finally all tears will be dried from our eyes and there will be no pain or sickness or death. [“And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.”] Revelation 21:4 (KJV)
- God has intervened on occasion. He desires our peace, happiness and wellness. Adam made us to suffer.
- Deuteronomy 32:24 “They shall be burnt with hunger, and devoured with burning heat, and with bitter destruction:...”
- Daniel 3:19 “Then was Nebuchadnezzar full of fury, and the form of his visage was changed against Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego: therefore he spake, and commanded that they should heat the () furnace seven times more than it was wont to be heated. 20 And he commanded the most mighty men that were in his army to bind Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, and to cast them into the burning fiery furnace. 21 Then these men were bound...and were cast into the midst of the burning fiery furnace. 22 ...the flame of the fire slew those men that took up Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego. 23 And these three men, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, fell down bound into the midst of the burning fiery furnace. 24 Then Nebuchadnezzar...spake,...Did not we cast three men bound into the midst of the fire?...Lo, I see four men loose, walking in the midst of the fire, and they have no hurt; and the form of the fourth is like the Son of God.”
- Revelation 3:15 “I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot. 16 So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth. Know God, know peace. Amen. 01/26/21 BLL
