Come Again

COME AGAIN
The unsinkable Titanic, a British passenger liner, sank on its maiden voyage in the North Atlantic Ocean in the early morning hours of 15 April 1912, following a statement made by the captain that not even “God could sink her.” More than 1,500 died when the ship struck an iceberg thought to be too far south. The iceberg that took it down, if seen at all, was not seen in its entirety. As is normal, approximately two thirds floated concealed beneath the frigid surface of the North Atlantic.
Disasters and diseases appear and surprise us because the greater part is working beneath our ability to comprehend, avoid or eradicate the danger before a catastrophic event occurs.
Locked into habitual mundane and ordinary modes of thinking, we ignore the warning flags. They point to something beyond the obvious. There are many who having been made aware of pending disaster or latent destruction and pandemics refuse to correct their course. Consequentially many are in pearl. Indifference will keep the eye from the microscope, seismographs or telescope. This failure often leads to disaster.
God gave us knowledge, wisdom and understanding far greater then the other animals abroad. He surly meant for us to apply it to life. After Adam brought disease and death, we would need it often. Open minds, prayer and faith opens the door to Gods intervention. Ranting, raving and accusing God serves no productive purpose. Spiritual examination of situations below the surface may produce calm preperation.
Preparation during the lull in the center of the storm will better prepare for the returning winds of sorrow. Knowledge of the iceberg's hidden mass can distance those in its path from hidden danger. Just because you can’t see it, does not mean that it isn’t there. So it is with the return of COVID-19. So it is with return of our Lord Jesus. Watch for clews hidden beneath the surface. Obey those who have looked. Victory is written clearly in history and in God’s word. There is peace in applied knowledge.
John 16:7 “Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you.”
John 14:3 I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.”
See the signs and watch. Know God, know peace. Amen. 07-01-2020 BLL
