THERE IS A WAY

A Bard, Robert Frost, penned these words ending his most read poem:
“Two roads diverged in a wood, and I -
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference.”
We live our lives making choices between two or more possibilities who’s ends are unknown. “If only” is a most uttered phrase coming from lips standing at the ending of a path most sorrowful. There is a way that leads to satisfaction. Seek out that old way and walk therein. The end of it is joyous.
Fearing COVID-19 we make many avoidance choices, turns and plan changes.
Jeremiah 21:8 “...Thus saith the LORD; Behold, I set before you the way of life, and the way of death.”
Proverbs 16:25 “There is a way that seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.
Proverbs 12:28 “In the way of righteousness is life; and in the pathway thereof there is no death.”
Matthew 7:13 “Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: “
Matthew 7:13 “Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: 14 Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.” (Luke 1:78) “Through the tender mercy of our God; whereby the dayspring from on high hath visited us, 79 To give light to them that sit in darkness and in the shadow of death, to guide our feet into the way of peace.”
Luke 20:21 “...the way of God truly:”
2 Thessalonians 2:7 “For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way.”
John 14:6 “Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.”
Hebrews 12: 14 Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord:”
Yes, there is a way leading to peace and eternal life. Jesus Christ set the way, is the way, and all who believe on Him will reach their trails end rejoicing. Know God, know peace. Amen. 07-05-2020 BLL

 3//27/13 “Remember from Whence Thou art Fallen” “Remember therefore from whence thou art fallen, and repent, and do the first works; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will remove thy candlestick out of his place, except thou repent.” (Revelation 2:5) Today we touch the untouchable book of Revelation, given to us by John of Patmos, through our Savior Jesus Christ himself. This particular message is one I have given before, in places where I knew none of the congregation, and had no idea why God wouldn’t let me preach from any other scripture.  It is probably one of the most important messages for the people of today’s church to hear. (Luke 12:22 &23) Life is indeed more than meat, food, clothing and the things that are constantly demanding the attention of the physical, carnal man, whose concern for himself and those he considers his own, all too often revolve. Life also consists of the inner being, the soul of that man, and those he considers his own, and all others as well with whom he is in contact in the process of what is called living.
