How Many Lord?
HOW
MANY LORD
These
are unpredictable
times. With COVID-19
slowly taking the righteous
and the worldly sinners alike in even
greater numbers. Appearing with seeming random
selection
it
touches
our neighbors
here and world wide. Some
survive, some do not. True
believers
in
the Lord Jesus
who
do not are
carried by angels away to paradise
as Jesus assured the converted
thief
on the cross beside him. (Luke
23:43)
“
And
Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, To day shalt thou be
with me in paradise.”
Those
who have not been covered in the blood of Jesus
are doomed to a devils hell. With so many bad choices available and
being promoted, why are “Christians” sitting sedately by while
the lost around us may
perish? Let faith produce works. Work, Christians while it is day;
soon none will be able to penetrate the darkness and
invite lost souls into the light.
Our
nation is not
alone in
the battle for freedom from death.
The United
States has
total population of ( 246,780,000).
The Roman
Catholic Church denomination
is the largest group in the world today with more than a billion
followers constituting about half of the world's Christian
population.
There
are approximately 800 million Protestants in the world, comprising
38%
of the global Christian population. The United States has more
Protestants than any other country (160 million), which is about 20%
of the worldwide total number of Christians. Approximately 260
million people worldwide are Orthodox Christians, comprising 12% of
the global Christian population. Nearly 40% of Orthodox Christians
worldwide live in Russia.
Nearly
one-third... about
28 million adherents worldwide (1%) do not belong to any
one
of these three largest Christian traditions, but do fit within the
broad umbrella of Christianity.
Author
Ferdinand
Bada research
revealed that about
33.2%
of the world's population is considered to be Christian.
The
term Christian encompasses
a broad range of denominations, with Roman
Catholicism comprising
the largest group made up of around 1.3 billion
in
America alone.
Today
in the United States, the number of adults who identify as
Christians has dropped significantly.
That means of
the 230
million Americans, a
little over one third call
themselves Christians. By comparison, the next largest religions
group
in America is
Judaism and Islam. Combined, these faiths represent less than three
percent of the United States population. Living
side by side with different religious groups and the lost, why
do we not have a zeal to lead the lost to the Lord.
Time
is closing out, the end is near.
Acts
26:22 “Having
therefore obtained help of God, I continue unto this day,
witnessing both to small and great, saying none other things than
those which the prophets and Moses did say should come:” Know
God, know peace. Amen. 07-14-2020 BLL
