What's that ye said Lord?
WHAT’S
THAT YE SAID LORD?
It
seems that too often God’s people do not hear, or do not heed, His
instructional voice. Maybe
God speaks with the voice of thunder. I have heard mighty winds, seen
the fire in heaven and heard the rolling thunder. Destructive and freighting, God is not in the storm speaking. He owns the voices of
nature; created them! God will ride through the storm to deliver
worthy storm riders from their pearl. He is not known by the worldly
in spirit and in truth. He is an invisible God. We see Him but we do
not. We both see and hear Him in the speaking entities of creation.
He made them all. Often times we hear but do not understand because
we do not listen.
John
1:10
“He
was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world
knew him not.”
Jesus
humbled Himself to the wilds of this world, faced Satan in debate
and won, took away the sins of the world and prepared a path to
eternal life free to those who believe. We can walk with Him on the
road to Emmaus.
We can suffer with Him down the street Via
Dolorosa.
We can crucify him anew. Or, if
we
care,
we can enter a watery grave to show our appreciation.
There is but one Lord and Savior; Jesus Christ is lord. He rules
over the masses of the universe and he can
control the microscopic. The victory is His and battles are fought
and won. In Him we find Love, peace, long
suffering
and understanding.
Luke
1:74 “That
he would grant unto us, that we being delivered out of the hand
of our enemies might serve him without fear,”
Luke
4:18 “The
Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach
the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted,
to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight
to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised,”
2
Timothy 4:18 “And
the Lord shall deliver me from every evil work, and will
preserve me unto his heavenly kingdom: to whom be glory for ever and
ever. Amen.”
