The Blowing Wind
Could it be, as some say, that COVID-19 is a political ploy to gain position in our upcoming presidential election? Blowing winds of disasters, whether created, manipulated or misrepresented can cause corruption in politics. I take no stand but rather pray for victims of the corona virus. Many years past our American poet Walt Whitman  wrote these lines in a poem charging thus: “These stormy gusts and winds waft precious ships, Swell'd Washington's, Jefferson's, Lincoln's sails.” Election Day, November, 1884”
The wind that blows in our life from God can still, heal or kill. Our attitude may well be the determining factory as to the course the wind blows. Speculation, blame and accusations will not stop an ill wind nor refract it from its predetermined course. However our Lord Christ Jesus controls the wind and its effect upon us. “Take it to the Lord in prayer.”
John 3:8  “The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth:”
Genesis 8:1 “And God remembered Noah, and every living thing, and all the cattle that was with him in the ark: and God made a wind to pass over the earth, and the waters asswaged;”
Elijah feared for his life: - Kings 19:11 “And, behold, the LORD passed by, and a great and strong wind rent the mountains, and brake in pieces the rocks before the LORD; but the LORD was not in the wind: and after the wind an earthquake; but the LORD was not in the earthquake: 12 And after the earthquake a fire; but the LORD was not in the fire: and after the fire a still small voice.”
Luke 8:24 “And they came to him, and awoke him, saying, Master, master, we perish. Then he arose, and rebuked the wind and the raging of the
water: and they ceased, and there was a calm.”
Ephesians 4:14  “That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive;”
James 1:6  “But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed.”
We have reports of millions dying and millions more sick with COVID-19. Pray without ceasing. Know God, know peace. Amen. 07-22-2929 BLL

  Each Day We can only live each day in its time frame. Yesterday, with its ups and downs is passed never to return. Tomorrow is a vision of hope not yet on the horizon. Each day bares its on unique set of events. Some recognizable some masked in ignorance. As we near the dawning of a new day, calling upon the Lord is a necessary activity.
