Deliverence
DELIVERANCE
It
is not truly known whether
wearing a mask will deliver us from the vicious touch of the Corona
virus or if
not wearing a mask welcome its attack. The old adage,”
Better safe than sorry,” seems to be appropriate. I find it very
interesting
that it is the some forty
percent who do not
wear a mask against
spreading
the
virus while
in
heightened
contact
locations
are
mostly non-Christians. Christians realize that their effort to
protect others is Godly and
desirable.
These words are referred to by sinners concerning deliverance
by God from this pestilence
and decline the filtering out of their breaths and
saliva
spray that adds fuel to the spread of the virus; if they indeed have
it already. “God
will protect me.” I
do not believe they actually feel that
a
God which
they
do not respect
and worship, will hear their plea of self righteousness.

Corinthians 3:19 "For
the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God. For it is written,
He taketh the wise in their own craftiness.”
The
three Hebrew
boys, when facing the fiery furnace for their refusal to worship
Nebuchadnezzar’s
golden statue spoke:
(Daniel
3:17) “If
it be so,
our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery
furnace,...”
We
Christians feel similarly
concerning the virus. However we don’t wish to add to its flames.”
Many
Christians have died
of the virus; many more suffered through its tormenting claws.
In
all cases deliverance
is in God’s
hands.
To
boast of God’s intervention is tempting God.
(Mark
7:6) "... This people honoureth me with their
lips, but their heart is far from me.”
- Matthew 4:7 “Jesus said unto him, It is written again, Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God.”
- Isaiah 7:12 “But Ahaz said, I will not ask, neither will I tempt the LORD.
- In teaching his disciples proper prayer methods, Jesus spoke in part: ( Luke 11:2)...“deliver us from evil. Amen. God has angels ready to deliver us from all evil.
Be protected, see the doctor, follow doctor’s advice, turn to God and if it be His will, live and enjoy deliverance.
(Galatians
1)

“Grace
be
to you and peace from God the Father, and from
our Lord Jesus Christ, 4
Who
gave himself for our sins, that he might deliver us from this present
evil world, according to the will of God and our Father:
5
To
whom be
glory for ever and ever. Amen.
Know
God, know peace. Amen. 06-10-2020 BLL
