The Revival

THE REVIVAL
Though Jesus was of mortal design, his spirit was of God. On a sultry day in Bethlehem He burst forth onto a bed of straw. For thirty years he matured in wisdom and knowledge. He saw for the first time the error of the ways of His chosen people. Likewise He observed the spiritual ignorance of the gentiles. For the next three years, He brought the message of salvation by grace through faith. Then, at about age thirty three, He was put to death on a cross at Calvary. He died a man and He arose a king; our living God. He ascended back into eternal bless to await the revival of a new people. He will appear again and call believers, the living and the dead to rise and ascend into the heavens there to receive their reward. Many commandments were left being as guide rails along the narrow road to heaven. Many today follow that path, many more do not. Love is the motivation, eternal life with our Lord the goal. He commanded us to love one another and come to the aid of fellow Christians everywhere.
1 John 2:8 Again, a new commandment I write unto you, which thing is true in him and in you: because the darkness is past, and the true light now shineth.
Acts 11:26 “... And the disciples were called Christians first in Antioch.”
2 Chronicles 7:14If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.
Hosea 14:4 I will heal their backsliding, I will love them freely:...”
Romans 7:9For I was alive without the law once: but when the commandment came, sin revived, and I died. “
Ephesians 5:8For ye were sometimes in darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord: walk as children of light:”
Ephesians 5:11 “And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them.“
Ephesians 6:12For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
James 4:10 Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he shall lift you up.” (Romans 14:9) “ For to this end Christ both died, and rose, and revived, that he might be Lord both of the dead and living.”
Acts 26:18 To open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me.”
John 12:46 “I am come a light into the world, that whosoever believeth on me should not abide in darkness. Know God, know peace. Amen. 06-07-2020 BLL
