Press on Weary Pilgrim

PRESS ON WEARY PILGRIM
  Among many who appear to believe the threat of COVID-19 has subsided, there is developing a lackadaisical pushing forward in their old fashion. This is a dangerous attitude to hold and follow. If all adhere to this practice a more horrendous infestation shall appear. Press on weary pilgrims to the mark set in the beginning. Encouraging messages posted in the past were designed to bring peace of mind and not to wipe away caution. Certainly, God protects and heals His own. But, the foolish mind may pay a fools ransom. Keep the faith while pressing on unto full deliverance from this destructive contra virus. Stand by one another with a helping hand. History gives examples:
  Mark 5:27 “When she had heard of Jesus, came in the press behind, and touched his garment. 28 For she said, If I may touch but his clothes, I shall be whole. 29 And straightway the fountain of her blood was dried up; and she felt in her body that she was healed of that plague.”
  Luke 6:38 “Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.”
  Luke 16:16: The law and the prophets were until John: since that time the kingdom of God is preached, and every man presseth into it.”
  Philippians 3:14 “I (Paul) press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.”
  Isaiah 41:4 “Who hath wrought and done it, calling the generations from the beginning? I the LORD, the first, and with the last; I am he.”
  Luke 7:32 “But the Pharisees and lawyers rejected the counsel of God against themselves, being not baptized of him. 31 And the Lord said, Whereunto then shall I liken the men of this generation? and to what are they like? 32 They are like unto children sitting in the marketplace, and calling one to another, and saying, We have piped unto you, and ye have not danced; we have mourned to you, and ye have not wept”
  1 Corinthians 7:20 “Let every man abide in the same calling wherein he was called.
  1 Timothy 6:19 “Laying up in store for themselves a good foundation against the time to come, that they may lay hold on eternal life.”
  1 Timothy 6:12 “Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses. Know God, know pease. Amen 06-09-20 Bll

 3//27/13 “Remember from Whence Thou art Fallen” “Remember therefore from whence thou art fallen, and repent, and do the first works; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will remove thy candlestick out of his place, except thou repent.” (Revelation 2:5) Today we touch the untouchable book of Revelation, given to us by John of Patmos, through our Savior Jesus Christ himself. (Luke 12:22 &23) Life is indeed more than meat, food, clothing and the things that are constantly demanding the attention of the physical, carnal man, whose concern for himself and those he considers his own, all too often revolve.
