NEWNESS

There is a smell of newness in the air. Whether it is a return to “normalcy” or simply an acceptance of a new order of things to come, is not clear. Whatever life settles out to be and continue to an end will reveal a newness. Current events are altering the going forth in a way never thought possible. Understand that COVID-19 and rioting has set a new pace and, for the better or worse, a world changed forever.

Its very possible that a great majority of the people of the world do not, will not or cannot recognize the change. The coming alterations in our life style is not likely to be visualized much less understood by a people who is rapidly approaching the conditions of the world as they were in the days of Noe (Noah).

Some will find it rewarding, some endurable and some despicable. Do not fret if you are a child of God for It is His power driving all things. He will not allow his children to suffer the wrath to come. If you do not know God in all His loving mercy, repent and become His child. Therein is truth and understanding.

Romans 8:35 “Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? 37 ...in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us. 38 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, 39 Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”

Luke 21:34 “...take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting, and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and so that day come upon you unawares. 35 For as a snare shall it come on all them that dwell on the face of the whole earth. 36 Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass,...”

Romans 8:6 “For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.
