Troubled
TROUBLED
How
far into sorrow have we wondered? Are we troubled? Do
we fear. Will all recognize the fulfilling of prophesy as it
completes course? In all be not afraid. Christians have no fear.
Servants of the darkness of the world, become a child of God as
outlined in His Word. I am troubled for all lost and anxious
as I see the closeness of the closing of the door to salvation. See
what the Word has to say; start to finish.
Luke
1: 26 And
in the sixth month the angel Gabriel was sent from God unto a city of
Galilee, named Nazareth, 27 To
a virgin espoused to a man whose name was Joseph, of the house of
David; and the virgin's name was
Mary. 28
And
the angel came in unto her, and said, Hail, thou
that art
highly favoured, the Lord is
with thee: blessed art
thou among women. 29 And
when she saw him,
she was troubled
at his saying, and cast in her mind what manner of salutation this
should be.
30 And
the angel said unto her, Fear not, Mary: for thou hast found favour
with God. 31 And,
behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and bring forth a son, and
shalt call his name JESUS. 32 He
shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Highest: and the
Lord God shall give unto him the throne of his father David:
Luke1: There was in the days of Herod, the kling of Judaea a certain priest named Zacharias, of the course of Abia: and his wife
was
of the daughters of Aaron, and her name was
Elisabeth. (8)
And it came to pass, that while he executed the priest's office
before God in the order of his course, (10)
And the whole multitude of the people were praying without at the
time of incense.
11
And there appeared unto him an angel of the Lord standing on the
right side of the altar of incense. (12)
And when Zacharias saw him,
he was troubled,
and fear fell upon him.13 But the angel said unto him, Fear not,
Zacharias: for thy prayer is heard; and thy wife Elisabeth shall bear
thee a son, and thou shalt call his name John. (15)
For he shall be great in the sight of the Lord, and shall drink
neither wine nor strong drink; and he shall be filled with the Holy
Ghost, even from his mother's womb. 16 And many of the children of
Israel shall he turn to the Lord their God.
- Matthew 3:13 “Then cometh Jesus from Galilee to Jordan unto John, to be baptized of him.”
- Following His baptizing and proclamation from heaven that He was the only begotten son of God, Jesus went away into a desert place where he was tempted, as are we, by the devil. After forty days, he reentered the public eye and began His ministry; preaching and teaching the Kingdom of God.
John
4:
For
an angel went down at a certain season into the pool, and troubled
the
water: whosoever then first after the troubling
of the water stepped in was made whole of whatsoever disease he had.
Matthew
24: 3 And
as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him
privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what
shall
be
the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world? 4 And
Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you.
5 For
many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive
many. 6
And
ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not
troubled:
for
all these
things
must come to pass, but the end is not yet.
7 For
nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and
there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers
places. 8 All
these are
the beginning of sorrows.
Mark
6: 47 And
when even was come, the ship was in the midst of the sea, and he
alone on the land. 48 A
nd he saw them toiling in rowing; for the wind was contrary unto
them: and about the fourth watch of the night he cometh unto them,
walking upon the sea, and would have passed by them. 49 But
when they saw him walking upon the sea, they supposed it had been a
spirit, and cried out: 50 For
they all saw him, and were troubled.
And immediately he talked with them, and saith unto them, Be of good
cheer: it is I; be not afraid.
Luke
10: 41
And
Jesus answered and said unto her, Martha, Martha, thou art careful
and troubled
about many things: 42 But
one thing is needful: and Mary hath chosen that good part, which
shall not be taken away from her.
John
12:26 If
any man serve me, let him follow me; and where I am, there shall also
my servant be: if any man serve me, him will my
Father honour. 27
Now
is my soul troubled;
and what shall I say? Father, save me from this hour: but for this
cause came I unto this hour.
28 Father,
glorify thy name.
- John 13:21 When Jesus had thus said, he was troubled in spirit, and testified, and said, Verily, verily, I say unto you, that one of you shall betray me.
- John 14:27 Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.
- 2 Corinthians 4:8 We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not in despair; (John 14:1) Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. 2 In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. 3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also. (2 Thessalonians 2): Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto him, 2 That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand. 3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; 4 Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God. 5 Remember ye not, that, when I was yet with you, I told you these things?
- Let us remember also and not be troubled unto fear. Know God, know peace. Amen.05-14-2020BLL
