The Reaction
THE
REACTION
- As I pondered the Lords directives this morning concerning our lesson of the day, I was at first unsettled in its ability to comfort and heal those suffering with fear or illness from COVID-19. Realizing that many are afflicted and thousands worried. Knowing there are hundreds of articles written with interpretations, prophesies, and explanations, it is necessary to pin point the circumstances from a perspective of God’s laws. Realize that God made spiritual laws that are commandments to be obeyed, or not. The reaction to disobedience is chastisement. Know that God also made physical laws directed to the running of His creation. Both set of laws are from God and both will have reactions which are built within the “verbiage” of their development; God knows.
- There is a law of physics pertaining to the relative nature of the work of God being consistent and uniform across all of heaven and earth; “The Law of Relativity.” This law of common connection is about everything being relative to something else, and that you cannot ascribe meaning to something until you compare it with another thing. Newton's law of universal gravitation is usually stated as: “that every particle attracts every other particle in the universe with a force which is directly proportional to their masses and inversely proportional to the square of the distance between their centers.”
In
other words, “the bigger you are the harder you fall.” Size makes
the difference. This law keeps us in orbit around the sun and the
moon around the earth. All heavenly bodies operate the same by the
words of God.
Also,
in physics as described by the third of Newton's laws, all forces
occur in pairs such that if one object exerts a force on another
object, then the second object exerts an equal and opposite reaction
force on the first. Or, "To every action there is always an
equal and opposite reaction.”
- The writers of the gospels points to the principles of earthly and heavenly laws of eternal reality. Matthew 11:12 “And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffereth violence, and the violent take it by force.”
- John broadcast the coming of the Lord, initiated baptism and baptized Jesus. God Almighty sanctioned John’s mission and confirmed the deity of Jesus. This was the action that led to the reaction. From the time of His baptism and sanctioning as the Son of God, Jesus suffered many reactive things. Because Jesus began to preach, and to say, Repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.” Think not ,Also, that there is not a reaction to a sinful action. (Luke 13:3) “I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish. (Hebrews 10:31) “It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.” (1 John 1:9) “If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” (1 Peter 4:19) “Wherefore let them that suffer according to the will of God commit the keeping of their souls to him in well doing, as unto a faithful Creator.” (1 John 5:14) “And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us: Acts 3:19 “Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord;”
- To err is human but to forgive is devise. The blood covers sins as a reaction to Jesus’ sacrificial death. There will be reaction to our errs of disobedience. (Revelation 2:5) “Remember therefore from whence thou art fallen, and repent, and do the first works; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will remove thy candlestick out of his place, except thou repent.” (John 14:14) “If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it.”
- We all have sinned and come short. We must clean up our messy life and pray. Matthew 18:19 “Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven.” (Ephesians 6:8) “knowing that whatsoever good thing any man doeth, the same shall he receive of the Lord,...” (2 Corinthians 8:7) “Therefore, as ye abound in every thing, in faith, and utterance, and knowledge, and in all diligence, and in your love to us, see that ye abound in this grace also.” (1 Peter 4:12) “Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you:
- Work, pray and listen, doing nothing is also an action because it is a will full refusal to obey God. God will react according to His will. Mark 11:13 “he (Jesus) went out unto Bethany with the twelve. 12 And on the morrow, when they were come from Bethany, he was hungry: 13 And seeing a fig tree afar off having leaves, he came, if haply he might find any thing thereon: and when he came to it, he found nothing but leaves; for the time of figs was not yet. 14 And Jesus answered and said unto it, No man eat fruit of thee hereafter for ever.” (The reaction)
- Acts 5:4 1 But a certain man named Ananias, with Sapphira his wife, sold a possession, 2 And kept back part of the price, his wife also being privy to it, and brought a certain part, and laid it at the apostles' feet. 3 But Peter said, Ananias, why hath Satan filled thine heart to lie to the Holy Ghost, and to keep back part of the price of the land? 4 Whiles it remained, was it not thine own? and after it was sold, was it not in thine own power? why hast thou conceived this thing in thine heart? thou hast not lied unto men, but unto God. 5 And Ananias hearing these words fell down, and gave up the ghost:” Know God, know peace. Amen. 05-01-2020 BLL
