PLAGUE

Think it not strange when some mutant strain of a deadly virus invades the nations of the world. Witness, trusting God, the appearing of hurtful insects and inclement weather contrary to tradition that hamper planting and harvesting activities. Some such happenings are furthering of God’s great plan. Some are spoken into existence by boastful men of authority and some of nonchalant citizens walking boldly into the face of death unconcerned. Children of God, covered in the blood of the lamb, need to know God, obey His Word and be not afraid. When we see the troubling of normalcy in our world, know that it is the “beginning of sorrow” as spoken by Jesus. Christians are those who have the sacrificial blood of Jesus upon them in spirit through faith. Scripture makes clear that it is the Blood that has life and Christs blood that redeems us.
Job 38:17 “Have the gates of death been opened unto thee? or hast thou seen the doors of the shadow of death? (Surly we have! See God’s word):
Exodus 6:1 “And the LORD said unto Moses, Yet will I bring one plague more upon Pharaoh, and upon Egypt; afterwards he will let you go hence:
Exodus 4 “And Moses said, Thus saith the LORD, About midnight will I go out into the midst of Egypt:
5 And all the firstborn in the land of Egypt shall die, from the firstborn of Pharaoh that sitteth upon his throne, even unto the firstborn of the maidservant that is behind the mill; and all the firstborn of beasts. (Exodus 12:13) “And the blood shall be to you for a token upon the houses where ye are: and when I see the blood, I will pass over you, and the plague shall not be upon you to destroy you, when I smite the land of Egypt.
Exodus 12 21 Then Moses called for all the elders of Israel, and said unto them, Draw out and take you a lamb according to your families, and kill the passover. 22 And ye shall take a bunch of hyssop, and dip it in the blood that is in the bason, and strike the lintel and the two side posts with the blood that is in the bason; and none of you shall go out at the door of his house until the morning. (23) For the LORD will pass through to smite the Egyptians; and when he seeth the blood upon the lintel, and on the two side posts, the LORD will pass over the door, and will not suffer the destroyer to come in unto your houses to smite you.”
Thus we who have the blood applied spiritually to our lives and have a Passover of certain deaths if we believe.Hebrews 9:12 “Nether by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us. 25 “Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God;
Romans 5:9 “Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.”  
Hebrews 3:20 
“Now the God of peace, that brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant, 21 Make you perfect in every good work to do his will, working in you that which is well pleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ; to whom be glory for ever and ever.  3//27/13 “Remember from Whence Thou art Fallen” “Remember therefore from whence thou art fallen, and repent, and do the first works; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will remove thy candlestick out of his place, except thou repent.” (Revelation 2:5) Today we touch the untouchable book of Revelation, given to us by John of Patmos, through our Savior Jesus Christ himself. This particular message is one I have given before, in places where I knew none of the congregation, and had no idea why God wouldn’t let me preach from any other scripture.  It is probably one of the most important messages for the people of today’s church to hear. (Luke 12:22 &23) Life is indeed more than meat, food, clothing and the things that are constantly demanding the attention of the physical, carnal man, whose concern for himself and those he considers his own, all too often revolve.
