The Begining

THE BEGINNING

Everything in God’s great creation had, has and will have a beginning and an ending. From the sub-microscopic, single celled dwellers to the furthermost star in God’s universe, all things must begin and as they begin they will end. It is no different for the Corona Virus. Only God, His celestial beings and His Bride have eternal life. Heaven and earth shall pass away but God’s Word will never vanish. The beginning and the ending are not so important as the fulfillment of their purpose. Though sometimes we are made to wonder, humankind began as the most intelligent and powerful earthly inhabitant. God gave us knowledge to have authority over natural creations. Somewhere we began to boast of our powers and as a result exploit them. The result alters the “between” intended for our lives. We lost control.

Genesis 9:20 “And Noah began to be an husbandman, and he planted a vineyard:”
The new clean earth began well but it would end in disasters.
1 Chronicles 1:10 “And Cush begat Nimrod: he began to be mighty upon the earth. 10 And the beginning of his kingdom was Babel, and Erech, and Accad, and Calneh, in the land of Shinar. 11 Out of that land went forth Asshur, and builded Nineveh,...”
A wicked city. Jonah was sent to warn them. They repented and began to be righteous ended an evil place. All who began to live also went to the sleep of death.
The law began wholesome and right. It was modified over the centuries. By the beginning of Jesus ministry, buying and selling on the Sabbath was being accomplished inside the temple itself. Man made laws defeated the spirit of all Mosaic laws.
Luke 3:23 “And Jesus himself began to be about thirty years of age, being (as was supposed) the son of Joseph, which was the son of Heli,
Three years later he began to prepare for His death on the cross.
Matthew 26:37 “And he Jesus) took with him Peter and the two sons of Zebedee, and began to be sorrowful and very heavy. Then saith he unto them, My soul is exceeding sorrowful, even unto death: tarry ye here, and watch with me. 39 And he went a little further, and fell on his face, and prayed, saying, O my Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me: nevertheless not as I will, but as thou wilt.”

His condition of sorrow began and ended within a days time. He began His sleep on the eve of the Sabbath and ended it three days later having victory over death and hell and having laid a path for us to eternal life. Luke 15:14 describes how wayward children can return into God’s fold. Begin to be sorry for straying, repent and ask forgiveness.; end in acceptance. Christians loose tis tent of clay but it is renewed in newness.
Hebrews 2:3 How shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation; which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed unto us by them that heard him;
Know God, know peace. Amen 05-12-2020 BLL
