Ephesians 3:15-23

Ephesians 15-23

15 Wherefore I also, after I heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus, and love unto all the saints,
16 Cease not to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers;
17 That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him:
18 The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints,
19 And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power,
20 Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places,
21 Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come:
22 And hath put all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the church,
23 Which is his body, the fulness of him that filleth all in all.

15-23 We know that our Lord and Savior has laid up spiritual blessings for us in the future where time ends and eternity begins. He has promised blessings of a physical nature in this life also. We have His Holy Spirit living inside us. How greater blessing could there be? He dies so we could live. Measure that blessing if you will. Still, even the most devout Christians need our prayers. They may look shiny on the outside while inside there is a dull aching of the soul. When we hear of God’s blessings being spread over some of God’s people, we should pray a prayer of thanks to God. Christian friends, we should pray for ome another continuously. Even true believers greatly want heavenly wisdom and knowledge as Solomon did. Praying sits astride God's yoke at times. His yoke is light and his burden easy. We proudly take that yoke of service and harnessed beside our precious Lord, serve and labour. though there is no other way to find rest for the soul? Do we not for a little pleasure often part with our peace? If we dispute less, and prayed more with and for each other, we should daily see more and more what is the hope of our calling. It is desirable to feel the mighty power of Divine grace, beginning and carrying on the work of faith in our souls. We know Christ the Savior, will supplies all the necessities of those who trust in him, and gives them all blessings in the richest abundance. Thus, by being partakers of Christ himself, we come to be filled with the fullness of grace and glory in him. There will be times when, feeling our weakness and the power of our enemies, we most perceive the greatness of that mighty power which effects the revival of the believer. We unite and engaged to perfect his salvation among us. Surely this will constrain us by love to live to our Redeemer's glory. Know God, know peace. Amen 11-01-19 BLL
