Stand

  We learned in Ecclesiastes, "there is a time for all things." (Ecclesiastes 3:1) How often do go to the Lord to discuss our thankfulness or our infirmities? Abiding it the continuum of life guarantees there will be a filling of trouble and sorrow. That poison plant was grafted into existence by Adam and eve. It has total existence. It is a product of the devious mind of Satan. We stand openly aware that the swarm is approaching but we cannot fight what we cannot see. Microscopic marauders travel about seeking who they can devour. They are children of the devil. They go where he goes. COVID did not appear until Satan planted a seed. He can not stop scientists from developing a treatment for the maladies he sifts out of the bag of tortures that he has for us. Satan cares little when one disease is killed. There are millions of pestilences at his command. 

   To stand strong, or remain and endure is truly not a human's call. We simply continue in resistance but, too often, lack efficacy to abide. We crawl into the shelter and stand testing time. This too shall pass. Watch, listen, and learn. Get injections, do the mask always, spread sanitizes, and keep social distancing. Having done all you can do, stand. Cease from resisting and do not proceed in challenging or tempting Satan. Halt and remain stationary. When we stand, it's often in a manner unconducive to God's methods.

  Stand with eyes, ears and, heart open not inviting ruin or injury. Hold fast against tendencies to impair or intercede in God's work. Standing permanent and endure until the light at the end of the tunnel is shining. Having done all stand and find endurance, strength, resources that while you wait God developed.

1 Thessalonians 3:8 “For now we live, if ye stand fast in the Lord.”

2 Thessalonians 2:15 “Therefore, brethren, stand fast, and hold the traditions which ye have been taught, whether by word, or our epistle.

Galatians 5:1 “Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage. 12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. 13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. 14 Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; 15 And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; 16 Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.”

  A GIVING HEART “ Then the people rejoiced, for that they offered willingly, because with perfect heart they offered willingly to the LORD: and David the king also rejoiced with great joy.” (1 Chronicles 29:9) Israel’s people brought gifts for the construction of the holy temple in Jerusalem, it is mentioned no less than six times in this chapter that their offerings were willing offerings.   Each Day We can only live each day in its time frame. Yesterday, with its ups and downs is passed never to return. Tomorrow is a vision of hope not yet on the horizon. Each day bares its on unique set of events. Some recognizable some masked in ignorance. As we near the dawning of a new day, calling upon the Lord is a necessary activity. If we neglect the creat o r and giver of the new day, we simply cannot have a right spirit. Joy comes in the morning only through God’s book of promises.
