Eternal
Eternal
When our mind stretches to its limit, we fail to adequately picture eternity. Everything that we perceive to be real perishes. All things living about us has a beginning and an end. How, then, can we form a mental image of something with no beginning and no ending. How do we grasp eternal life to walk therein?
When Jesus Christ our Lord stepped out of the circle of eternity and establishes time, He placed all things we see and know into time. Time most certainly has a beginning and an ending. Time produces things that are temporal which, like itself, fades back into eternity. In Ecclesiastes we read there is a time for all things; a beginning and an ending. Even time has had a beginning and will certainly have an ending. Even as time runs its course, eternity moves along beside times occupants. Eventually all things will slip back into eternity; a spiritual realm. Some things into eternal life and some into destruction and damnation. It is no secret what God can do.
John 1:1 & 14 “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 The same was in the beginning with God. 3 All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. [14] And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.”
He had no time limits in Spirit. His existence is lasting and existing forever; without end or beginning. [Revelation 21:6 “And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end.”
- 1 John 5:20 “And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may know him that is true, and we are in him that is true, even in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life.”
- Revelation 1:8 “I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty. [John 3:15] “That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life.” [1 John 2:25] “And this is the promise that he hath promised us, even eternal life.” [Titus 1:2] “..., which God, that cannot lie, promised before the world began;
- Hebrews 9:12 “Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us.”
- Romans 13:11 “..., knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep: for now is our salvation nearer than when we believed. Amen. Know God, know peace. 05/03/21 BLL
