 Light

 Beyond the light, what...only outer darkness blacker than the face of sin. Where there is nothing for light to brighten, there is no natural light. If a tree falls in the deep woods and nothing is within hearing distance of the fall, does it make a noise? Thus beyond some glimmering object, light is wandering waves unseen. When light encounters an object, it glows. Moving at the speed of 299,792,458 miles per second, light waves (photons) are everywhere in the twinkle of an eye and are eternal. However, if they touch nothing, they are mere waves of invisible photons. (BLL) 

 The speed of light in outer space is the speed at which light photons travel in a vacuum. According to the Theory of Special Relativity proposed by Albert Einstein, the speed of light is the maximum speed at which all matter in the universe can travel. 

 Genesis 1:3-4 “And God said, Let there be light: and there was light. 4 “And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness.” 

 John 1:5 “And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.”

 John 1:9 [Jesus] “was the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world. 10 He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not.” 

 John 1:4 “In him was life; and the life was the light of men.” 

 John 8:12 “Then spake Jesus...he that followeth...me shall...shall have the light of life.” 

 Matthew 5:14 “Ye are the light of the world...” 

 Matthew 5:16 “Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven. (Matthew 6:22) The light of the body is the eye: if therefore thine eye be single, thy whole body shall be full of light. (Matthew 6:23) But if thine eye be evil, thy whole body shall be full of darkness.”

 Luke 11:34 “The light of the body is the eye: therefore when thine eye is single, thy whole body also is full of light; but when thine eye is evil, thy body also is full of darkness. (Luke 11:35) “Take heed therefore that the light which is in thee be not darkness.” 

 Romans 13:12 “The night is far spent, the day is at hand: let us therefore cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armour of light.”

 Acts 26:18 “To open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan...” (2 Corinthians 4:4) “In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.
