No Time
No Time
We
rush and hustle. We run and we grow weak. We complain; “where does
time go? We anxiously await the arrival of our lone missed loved
ones. We wait and wait and time slips away unnoticed until the final
hours alert us. Too late then to make amends where possible, we
grieve its passing; for others as well as ourselves. Most successful
people have a “game plan.” Written and recorded, this plan
becomes a trail map to time conservation...well to time’s better
applications. There are some startling statistics I have discovered
and wish to impart to those “too busy” Christians who sit and
wait on Jesus’ coming: According
to a “Timex survey,” Americans wait on average of 20 minutes a
day for the bus or plane
train,
32 minutes whenever they visit a doctor and 28 minutes waiting in
security lines whenever they travel. Most Americans spend 13 hours
annually waiting on hold for customer service report Time. The
average American commuter spends 38 hours each year waiting in
traffic. Big city commuters average more than 50 hours waiting in
traffic annually. Americans annually spend 37 billion hours waiting
inline, according to the New York Times. Waiting
in an
average
lifetime
is
astonishing! [https://logisticsmgepsupv.wordpress.com/2017/04/04/...]
April
04, 2017 report:·
Human beings spend approximately 6 months
of their lives waiting in line for things, it means like 3 days a
year of queueing up (waiting line of people or cars):
The average person spends about 43 days on hold with automated
customer service in one lifetime. Those who take the bus or
plane will
wait about 27 days of their lives waiting
in lobbies and lines.
Professing
Christians will be in church services about three times per week or
.071+ avg. in 24 hours; Non-Christian
believers in Christ about, .0000007 hrs per day (+
or
-).
There
is no time!
Luke 10:39
“And
she had a sister called Mary, which also sat at Jesus' feet, and
heard his word. 40
But
Martha was cumbered about much serving, and came to him, and said,
Lord, dost thou not care that my sister hath left me to serve alone?
bid her therefore that she help me. 41
And
Jesus answered and said unto her, Martha, Martha, thou art careful
and troubled about many things: 42
But
one thing is needful: and Mary hath chosen that good part, which
shall not be taken away from her.
Deuteronomy 5:13 “Six
days thou shalt labour, and do all thy work: 14But
the seventh day is the
sabbath of the LOordhy
God: in
it thou
shalt not do any work,” (Philippians
4:8) “Finally,
brethren, whatsoever things are true, what
soever things are honest, whatsoever things are
just,
whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are
lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be
any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.”
(Job
14:1)
”Man
that is born of a woman is of few days, and full of
trouble.
(James
4:14)
“Whereas
ye know not what shall
be on
the morrow. For what is your
life? It is even a vapour, that appeareth for a little time, and then
vanisheth away.”
