Broken
Broken
There are so many broken souls today in this shattered world. A bird caught in a snare, people flounder and flap about. Friends and foes alike struggle mentally and physically. Their demeanor reveals their feelings of great confusion; some brokenhearted. They have floundered, not knowing quite how to react to the current society's serious difficulty. The people of the world struggle mentally. Some react with violence, some through legal measures, and some with prayers amiss. All are flapping with a broken wing from the struggle in Satan’s snare. The fault is his. We share in the blame.
In life, I have found lives broken by Satan’s seductive art. Filled with Christ’s love and pity I’ve tried his love to impart. Broken wings will mend to an awkward flight. But the soul lent to Satan, is stricken and never rises as high again.
Like the bird caught in the poachers snare unable to escape and floundered to brokenness, some jitter-bug in Satan’s web until spirits are broken. If only those suffering pangs of discontent would only observe the entrapped soul in despair, it might keep them from the devil’s web. Thus the life Satan had withered would have saved another from the snare. Every loss has its compensation. Christ gives healing for every complaint. But the bird with a broken wing that mends never flies as high again.
However, unlike the snared bird rescued and healed, broken faith and spirit brought before God is healed. There remains no deformity or limits to heights in flight. The wings that Christ mends soar out of sight. Satan cannot snare them; his devices have been revealed. Now, you broken and despaired, go to God’s word and get repaired. His grace he will give you to let you higher soar again.
Romans 11:17 “14 ...If by any means I may provoke to emulation them which are my flesh, and might save some of them. 15 For if the casting away of them be the reconciling of the world, what shall the receiving of them be, but life from the dead? (17) And if some of the branches be broken off, and thou, being a wild olive tree, wert graffed in among them, and with them partakest of the root and fatness of the olive tree; 18 Boast not against the branches... The branches were broken off, that I might be graffed in. 20 Well; because of unbelief they were broken off, and thou standest by faith”.
Ephesians 14:12 “That at that time ye were without Christ...and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world: 13 But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ. 14 For he is our peace, who hath made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition between us;”
Know God, know peace. Amen. 05/19/21 BLL
