Praise God

PRAISE GOD
Psalms 150 :1 – 150:6

1 Praise ye the LORD. Praise God in his sanctuary: praise him in the firmament of his power.
2 Praise ye the LORD. Praise God in his sanctuary: praise him in the firmament of his power.
3 Praise him for his mighty acts: praise him according to his excellent greatness.
4 Praise him with the sound of the trumpet: praise him with the psaltery and harp.
5 Praise him with the timbrel and dance: praise him with stringed instruments and organs.
Praise him upon the loud cymbals: praise him upon the high sounding cymbals.
6 Let every thing that hath breath praise the LORD. Praise ye the LORD.

Peace on earth; Praise ye the Lord; praise be to God; sing praises,” these and many more phrases we have heard over the days of our Christian life. Yet there is little of either occurring. Sometimes I sing a song that I believe was written by Brother Donald Harding, II.

Why wont my children praise me; why wont they raise holy hands to me, are they afraid someone might see. I’ve given them everything, yet they don’t praise me. They sing praises but not from the heart and I can’t hear them...” (in parts)

We are here to praise and glorify God. Praise God for his covenant, and the privileges we enjoy by having Him among us; praise him because of His all power in glory and in the firmament. His great glory we cannot now conceive. When we do we will rejoice in past praises. But the record of His greatest and mighty acts is known in his earthly copy of “the Word.’; our bibles. The holiness and the love of our God, displayed in man's redemption, is greater than in his other works and miracles. We must praise our God and Savior for it; unashamed and unafraid. In serving God we should spare no cost, pains or personal sacrifice. Always praise God with strong faith; praise him with holy love and delight. With upraised hands praise him with unwavering confidence in Jesus’ sacrificial death. Praise him with believing triumph over the powers of darkness; praise him by universal respect to all his commands. Praise him by cheerful submission to all his commandments and by rejoicing in his love, and comforting ourselves in his goodness. Praise him by reaching out to lost souls with the good news of his grace. Praise him by lively hope and expectation of the promise of eternal life in His Glory. When the sun sets for the final time on our earth walk, while we have breath left to praise the Lord, praise Him. Thus we shall breathe our last breath in joy and with comfort. Let every thing that hath breath praise the Lord. Praise ye the Lord. Such is the very suitable end of a book inspired by the Spirit of God, written for the work of praise. And, it bears simple and clear marks of its Divine origin. God’s word is sealed and delivered. Know God, know peace. Amen. 11-29-2019 Bll
