God's Covenants

Hebrews Chapter Eight
Vss.7-13

7 For if that first covenant had been faultless, then should no place have been sought for the others.
8 For finding fault with them, he saith, Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah:
9 Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day when I took them by the hand to lead them out of the land of Egypt; because they continued not in my covenant, and I regarded them not, saith the Lord.
10 For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, saith the Lord; I will put my laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts: and I will be to them a God, and they shall be to me a people:
11 And they shall not teach every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the Lord: for all shall know me, from the least to the greatest.
12 For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their iniquities will I remember no more.
13 In that he saith, A new covenant, he hath made the first old. Now that which decayeth and waxeth old is ready to vanish away.

It’s unimaginable that any intelligent person, group or entity could not know the superior and excellence of the priesthood of Christ. He was not born into royalty, rather He brought royalty to earth bound humans. He made the rainbow covenant with Noah, the covenant of physical circumcised with Abraham (with promise), the law to Moses and His Grace covenant to all the world. From that covenant of grace, of which Christ was Mediator came salvation to the gentiles who would believe and accept Christs offer.
The law not only made all subject to it, liable to be condemned for the guilt of sin, but also was unable to remove that guilt, and clear the conscience from the sense and terror of it’s failures and punishments. Grace covenant came by the blood of Christ. It offered a full and free remission of sins, so that God would remember them no more. Far back in history, God wrote his laws to his people. While on the cross, he wrote His Love and Grace to be planted in our hearts. He will give understanding to know and to believe His Grace covenant. He gave us memories to retain its guiding principles of His Word.; He gave us hearts to love them, courage to profess them, and power to put them in practice.
This is the foundation of the Grace covenant; after the cross, duties were done wisely, sincerely, readily, easily, resolutely, constantly, and with comfort. Such behavior of His children continues into these last days. A plentiful outpouring of the Spirit of God will makes the ministration of the Word so effectual, that there has been a mighty spreading of Christian knowledge at all levels. Has this promise already been fulfilled? Could this promise be fulfilled in our days, that the hand of God may be with His ministers so that great numbers may believe, and be turned to the Lord! Sin’s pardon will always be found to accompany the true knowledge and understanding of God. When our Lord forgives the pardon is free; its full, total and complete; its permanent and forever sealed.
This pardoning mercy is connected with all other spiritual mercies: sin not pardoned hinders mercy, and earns righteous judgments; but the pardon of sin prevents judgment, and opens a wide door to all spiritual blessings. Let us search whether we are taught by the Holy Spirit to know Christ, so as uprightly to love, fear, trust, and obey him. All worldly vanities, outward privileges, or mere notions of religion, will soon vanish away, and leave those who trust in them miserable for ever. Know God, know peace. Amen 11-08-2019 BLL
