Blood Bound Spirit

Blood Bound Spirit
But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.” (Romans 8:11)
The fourth verse of the hymn “Arise, My Soul, Arise” speaks of God the Father answering the request of God the Son and granting salvation to a repentant sinner, adopting him into His family. Father God always heard Jesus pray. The Holy Spirit within us responds to the Christ the Lord, Father God. Our Spirit answers to the blood shed on the cross; it represents pure love. We know that we are sons born of God “if we keep His commandments. It is the Holy Spirit that tells me I am born of God. The only moment that Jesus was out of His Fathers sight and mind was on Calvary’s tree, God the Father turned away, unable in His holiness to look upon Christ as He bore “the sins of many” (Hebrews 9:28). “My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?” (Psalm 22:1) He cried in His agony. But once God’s righteous justice was satisfied, the Father turned back and answered Christ’s prayer, even from the horns of the true altar, as it were (Psalm 22:21). According to John’s report, Christ had said (John 10:30), “I and my Father are one,” and once sin’s penalty was paid, there would be no more separation of the Holy Spirit, Christ and God. They became one spirit. One Deity and one Supreme power over all things seen and unseen.

And when a sinner comes from darkness to God, claiming the blood of Christ as a full payment for his sins, and Christ Himself intercedes for the sinner’s total forgiveness and acceptance, the Father cannot turn away, for “he loved us, and sent his son to be the propitiation for our sins” (1 John 4:10).

The Holy Spirit (Christ) raised Jesus up from death and hell. That same Spirit that raised Jesus yo will also lift lost souls out of sin darkness into the newness of life everlasting. At the lifting up of his Bride that same Spirit will lift up the entire Church eternal life with Him. This speaks to the importance of all being born of God. “Marvel not that I say unto thee, Ye must be born again [literally, ‘born from above’]” (John 3:7). “Behold what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God” (1 John 3:1). To be one...ask. Know God, know peace. 04-25-2019 Amen BLL
