Ye shall be made Free
 3/2/15

"They answered him, We be Abraham's seed, and were never in bondage to any man: how sayest thou, Ye shall be made free?
(John 8:33)
Just as the Pharisees of Jesus time laid claim to righteousness through their lineage through Abraham alone, so too do many today making no claim of either Christianity or Judaism.
That claim is founded and is in fact justified through the fact that Abraham was the father of many nations.
It is justified also by those who descended from Ishmael, the son that was chosen to father many nations as well, though those nations were not the ones chosen for the blessings handed down through the years to come, receiving covenant after covenant until the final covenant given through Christ Jesus alone was made available for the final and sole remission of sin and citizenship within the kingdom of God promised in prophecy after prophecy given by His true prophets over the centuries.
Just as those prophets were so often rejected, and unheeded by the people chosen to receive the blessings given by the covenants through Isaac and his descendants, both lines of Abraham chose to ignore and fail to meet the requirements of that final covenant, clinging instead to the teachings of men who were interested only in themselves and the righteousness of man instead of that of God himself.
False prophets were welcomed, and given great acclaim and honor attributed to them by their followers and the process continues yet today.
Christ's answer to those Pharisees then, holds just as true now, as the world sees the onslaught of still more rejection of that final and sole covenant given and fails to grasp the significance and importance of that covenant, trying to eradicate even the few who have accepted it as Christ himself prophesied.
That answer is clear and plain for all with ears to hear and eyes to see, now as it was at the time it was given.
"Jesus answered them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whosoever committeth sin is the servant of sin.
And the servant abideth not in the house for ever: but the Son abideth ever.
If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.
I know that ye are Abraham's seed; but ye seek to kill me, because my word hath no place in you.
I speak that which I have seen with my Father: and ye do that which ye have seen with your father.
(John 8:34-38)
What has been passed through the generations, and continues to be passed down still is contingent upon the fathers of those to whom it is being passed.
An inheritance is being passed down that has no limit to the vastness of riches  available, no end to the wealth that it confers on those children it is given to by those receiving it from the fathers who were given it themselves by the Father of all, God through Jesus.
That inheritance is being denied and forfeited by all who choose to listen only to fathers who have themselves never received nor even believed in that inheritance because of the deception perpetrated on them by the teachings of those false prophets and their own descendants.
"They answered and said unto him, Abraham is our father. Jesus saith unto them, If ye were Abraham's children, ye would do the works of Abraham.
But now ye seek to kill me, a man that hath told you the truth, which I have heard of God: this did not Abraham.
Ye do the deeds of your father. Then said they to him, We be not born of fornication; we have one Father, even God.
Jesus said unto them, If God were your Father, ye would love me: for I proceeded forth and came from God; neither came I of myself, but he sent me.
Why do ye not understand my speech? even because ye cannot hear my word.
Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.
And because I tell you the truth, ye believe me not.
Which of you convinceth me of sin? And if I say the truth, why do ye not believe me?
He that is of God heareth God's words: ye therefore hear them not, because ye are not of God."
(John 8:47)
Ears to hear and eyes to see!
The pleadings fell then, and fall now on deaf ears, and the results go unseen by eyes still blinded as the world hurtles ever closer to the day of final judgment and that separation of sheep and goats that must and will come.
Until that day of Christ's return, and the final decisive battle  that is to be fought we are given the admonition to endure and continue in the faith that alone promises the inheritance of eternal life.
That endurance may come only through that faith, and through the grace delivered us because of that faith.
What is assuring is the known outcome of that final battle, Who is victorious, and who is defeated.
Sides are being chosen daily.
As that day approaches, the atrocities will only become greater, the attempts to quash the WAY, TRUTH and the LIFE  must and will continue and must and will fail in the efforts to do so.
Honor and follow the Father, and His Son, or honor the fathers that deny the fruits promised through the new and final covenant given by the Savior who told us to:
"Repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand!"
This simple sinner saved by grace through faith in that Savior chose sides long ago, and still has confidence  of the outcome  of that battle, still chooses to remain the wayfarer and soldier sounding the alarm and calling to all who have those ears to hear to follow the Commander I chose.
Return to the basics given us by Christ. Refuse to allow what has been given to be polluted,  refuse to be taken in by the falsity that surrounds us, refuse to be silenced.
Maintain that freedom that has been given us and that cannot be taken!
Endure, and do so in the commandment left us by Christ!
Amen and Amen
