Power
POWER
- Matthew 10:1 “And when he had called unto him his twelve disciples, he gave them power against unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal all manner of sickness and all manner of disease.
- Ephesians 6:12 “For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
- Colossians 1:16 “For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him: (Hebrews 2:14) “Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil;
- Matthew 28:18 “And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.”
- Colossians 2:10 “And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power:”
- Luke 10:19 “Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.
- Luke 12:5 “But I will forewarn you whom ye shall fear: Fear him, which after he hath killed hath power to cast into hell; yea, I say unto you, Fear him.
- John 1:12 “But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:
- Romans 13:1 “Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God.”
- Ephesians 1:20 Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places, 21 Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come: 22 And hath put all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the church, 23 Which is his body, the fulness of him that filleth all in all.
- Acts 1:8 “But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you:""
- Power is available but faith is required for its use. All things are possible to those who love and serve the Lord. Greater things than those that we read of His doing, we can do; if we believe. It is not within our power or body that we have these spiritual powers. It is God’s power and glory is to be given Him. We work a work unto Him who has declared us His Children, Bride and Church. He will come and receive us unto Himself in the resurrection; the first death. The dead in Christ will rise and the living will die for a glorifies existence. There in lies our hope, joy and power. First we must know Him and believe in His mighty power to forgive sins and raise the dead.
- Revelation 20:6 “Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.”
- At the end of which we enter into eternal life permanently. We have eternal life when we reject the devil and accept the promises of God. It is with us always; even eternally. Amen. Know God, know peace. 02–21-2020 BLL
