22: 25 Now there were with us seven brethren: and the first, when he had married a wife, deceased, and, having no issue, left his wife unto his brother:
26 Likewise the second also, and the third, unto the seventh.
27 And last of all the woman died also.
28 Therefore in the resurrection whose wife shall she be of the seven? for they all had her.
29 Jesus answered and said unto them, Ye do err, not knowing the scriptures, nor the power of God.
30 For in the resurrection they neither marry, nor are given in marriage, but are as the angels of God in heaven.
31 But as touching the resurrection of the dead, have ye not read that which was spoken unto you by God, saying,
32 I am the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob? God is not the God of the dead, but of the living.

I know a man; a lowly back hills Evangelist. The man comes to peach carrying a bible. However, when he places it on the podium, there it stays throughout his message. If he opens it at all it is for reading proof of his sermon. He “knows God’s word” and claims no glory from that fact. Still he could err not knowing some little detail or speaking scriptures in the context to please him. To God be all glory. You may believe that you never err. Look an a few err activities and conditions: be mistaken or incorrect; make a mistake. "the judge had erred in ruling that the evidence was inadmissible" make a mistake · be wrong · be in error · be mistaken · mistake · make a blunder · blunder · be incorrect · be inaccurate · misjudge · miscalculate · get things/something/it wrong · bark up the wrong tree · get the wrong end of the stick · be wide of the mark · slip up · screw up · blow it · foul up · goof · boob · fluff something · make a hash of something · put one's foot in it · make a boo-boo · make a bloomer · drop a brick fail to adhere to the proper or accepted standards; do wrong.
    "he has erred and strayed as many of us have" We sin. Take a look at the synonyms scriptures and think again: (online bible dictionary) misbehave · do wrong · go wrong · behave badly · misconduct oneself · be bad · be naughty · get up to mischief · get up to no good · act up · act badly · give someone trouble · cause someone trouble · sin · go astray · transgress · trespass · fall from grace · lapse · degenerate · clown about/around · fool about/around · act the clown · act the fool · act the goat · act foolishly · forget oneself · mess about/around · muck about/around · play up - be mistaken or incorrect; make a mistake - make a mistake · be wrong · be in error · be mistaken · mistake · make a blunder · blunder · be incorrect · be inaccurate · misjudge · miscalculate-fail to adhere to the proper or accepted standards; do wrong - misbehave · do wrong · go wrong · behave badly · misconduct oneself · be bad · be naughty · get up to mischief · get up to no good · act up · act badly.

I do not say that ALL of these reach the level of sin but most transgress the conduct code for Christians. Many scriptures pronounce such actions as err without spelling it in that manner. Matthew 18: 2 And Jesus called a little child unto him, and set him in the midst of them,
3 And said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven.
4 Whosoever therefore shall humble himself as this little child, the same is greatest in the kingdom of heaven.
5 And whoso shall receive one such little child in my name receiveth me.
6 But whoso shall offend one of these little ones which believe in me, it were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and that he were drowned in the depth of the sea.
John 4:18 “For thou hast had five husbands; and he whom thou now hast is not thy husband: in that saidst thou truly. “
Withholding information in a God sponsored setting is an err. Twisting things to your personal gain or advantage is an err. Read the word and discover all the ways we err. Hebrews 3:10 “Wherefore I was grieved with that generation, and said, They do alway err in their heart; and they have not known my ways.” Ensure your correctness in all things.  3//27/13 “Remember from Whence Thou art Fallen” “Remember therefore from whence thou art fallen, and repent, and do the first works; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will remove thy candlestick out of his place, except thou repent.” (Revelation 2:5) Today we touch the untouchable book of Revelation, given to us by John of Patmos, through our Savior Jesus Christ himself.
