- Then came the day of the Lord. Jesus appeared upon the scene and opened the eyes of the blind; figuratively and latterly. Following the law had drastically failed to turn human kind from their old blind worship methods. Some even transgressed and lowered themselves to the worship of foreign gods and their idols. Jesus descended from heaven through a virgin birth; the only begotten Son of God. He made a final sacrifice that all eyes could look upon and turn from their wicked ways, pray and be converted.
