Snow White

This morning ‘The Valley’ is blanketed in snow. Deep enough to cover most of the contrasting colors, it looks very pure and clean. There is just something about snow white that blankets the mind with thoughts of heaven. Heaven’s gate is pearl white. The robes of the saints shine white as sunlight. Good cowboys in old westerns movies always wore white hats and the cussed outlaws wore black. Think, what would old Glory display if all the white was removed from Her. Christians bare the whiteness made so by the washing in the sacrificial blood shed on the cross by Jesus. We have become white as snow.

Matthew 17:2 “... And (Jesus) was transfigured before them: and his face did shine as the sun, and his raiment was white as the light. (Mark 9:3) And his raiment became shining, exceeding white as snow; so as no fuller on earth can white them.
Matthew 28: “An...angel of the Lord descended from heaven, and came and rolled back the stone from the door, and sat upon it. 3 His countenance was like lightning, and his raiment white as snow”

Acts 1:10 “And while they looked stedfastly toward heaven as he went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel;”

Revelation 1:13 “And in the midst of the seven candlesticks one like unto the Son of man, clothed with a garment down to the foot, and girt about the paps with a golden girdle. 14 His head and his hairs were white like wool, as white as snow;...”

Revelation 4:4 “...and upon the seats I saw four and twenty elders sitting, clothed in white raiment;...”

Revelation 6:11 “And white robes were given unto every one of them; and it was said unto them, that they should rest yet for a little season, until their fellow servants also and their brethren, that should be killed as they were, should be fulfilled.” 

Revelation 7:13 “And one of the elders answered, saying unto me, What are these which are arrayed in white robes? and whence came they? (Revelation 7:14) “And I said unto him, Sir, thou knowest. And he said to me, These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.”

Revelation 19:11 “And I (John) saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True,...”

Revelation 19:14 “And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean.”

Revelation 20:11 “And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them.
