Ray of Light

The adage “behind ever cloud shines a ray of sun light” is true. Clouds may appear so dark and black they wipe out shadows and turn day to night. Clouds that you fall asleep beneath will move from over you in due time. There is no lasting darkness in the life of God’s children.

John 1:1 “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.” (3) All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. 4 In him was life; and the life was the light of men.” 

John 3:21 “...he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.”
John 8:12 “Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.”
Matthew 4:16 “The people which sat in darkness saw great light; and to them which sat in the region and shadow of death light is sprung” up. (Luke 1:78) “Through the tender mercy of our God; whereby the dayspring from on high hath visited us, 79 To give light to them that sit in darkness and in the shadow of death...”
Matthew 5:14 “Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.” (Matthew 5:15) “Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house.”
Matthew 5:16 “Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.”
Romans 13:12 “The night is far spent, the day is at hand: let us therefore cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armour of light.”
John 12:36 “While ye have light, believe in the light, that ye may be the children of light. These things spake Jesus,”
1 Peter 2:9 “...ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light:” (Revelation 22:5) “And there shall be no night there; and they need no candle, neither light of the sun; for the Lord God giveth them light:”

  A GIVING HEART “ Then the people rejoiced, for that they offered willingly, because with perfect heart they offered willingly to the LORD: and David the king also rejoiced with great joy.” (1 Chronicles 29:9) Israel’s people brought gifts for the construction of the holy temple in Jerusalem, it is mentioned no less than six times in this chapter that their offerings were willing offerings.   Each Day We can only live each day in its time frame. Yesterday, with its ups and downs is passed never to return. Tomorrow is a vision of hope not yet on the horizon. Each day bares its on unique set of events. Some recognizable some masked in ignorance. As we near the dawning of a new day, calling upon the Lord is a necessary activity.
